Previously I had 2 targets for the Watch and WatchExtension giving me the broken context. Switching over to the newer single target for the Watch made it work. Thank you @maxik!

Are there any news on that topic? Android Auto has support for that and first cars are out already providing telemetry. https://developer.android.com/reference/androidx/car/app/hardware/info/CarInfo Is there something similar on CarPlay available? If not are there any plans to add support?

I'm glad I found this topic here since I face the same issue for quite a while now. Even in Xcode 16.1 it does not work properly. At most it works on every other start but most of the time I have to connect the external CarPlay screen 3-4 times until it responds to mouse clicks. Suggesting to use the CarPlay Simulator isn't much of a help since you need to connect a iPhone to your computer. Testing different iOS versions is basically impossible on that.
