right, that just seems to be a workaround , not a solution, I also think there is something wrong with the speakers, I'm just not sure if ALL MBP are affected or just a few of them, I'm really thinking about returning my MPB I bought 1 week ago. that sound is annoying.

I had the same problem, I think there is a fix, open "Audio MIDI Septup", then go to Macbook Pro Speakers and select "96,000 Hz" and try again.
