Posting in case this helps anyone else. We were getting a lot of these timeouts after loading a bunch of image URLs. Our app would load ~100 images and then all future image requests would time out. After lots of digging the fix was server side: we disabled the HTTP/3 (with QUIC) setting on our Cloudflare instance.
