Omg, I am just in hysterics! I've learned how to deal with a monitor, I bought type-c cables to connect directly to mac. Today I updated my mac to version 12.4 and guess what? It just stopped charging via usb-hub. Are you kidding me, Apple?

Can't believe it, but looks like Monterey 12.2 fixed my USB-hub. Finally. Not sure about monitor, will test it, but USB 3.0 is working now. Yay!

After updating to Monterey 12.1 usb-hub is still not working. But at least my Mac stopped crashing when it goes to sleep mode with usb-hub plugged in.

One more issue found last days. When Mac goes to sleep mode with USB-Hub connected, MacOS crashes and restarts with message panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffe001b90eb7c): Wake transition timed out after 35 seconds while calling rootDomain's clients about upcoming rootDomain's state changes. Debugger message: panic Memory ID: 0xff OS release type: User OS version: 21A559 I fixed problem with USB using new Data cable USB-C to Lightning. Now I have to switch off hub from Mac every time I go away from my table. So annoying. :\

I have the same problem. Updated Macbook Air M1 yesterday to Monterey 12.0.1 and realised that USB on my hub is not working anymore. Can't deploy apps to devices. Android devices just charging, iPhone even is not charging. Hey, Siri. How to fix this issue?
