Looks like a PNG works for both iOS17 and iOS18 but HEIC when compiled in xcode16 (haven't tried older versions) doesn't work in iOS17, the icons just show up as black.

Thanks, I should have clarified I have all the translated strings already and the String localized initializer picks up the correct language based on the devices current locale, but I can’t get the locale override in the String initializer to work, specifying French for example is ignored and still uses the locale of the device
