Reply to Notarization submissions stuck "In Progress" for 4 days (new Team ID)
Update — the requests are no longer in progress, and it turns out this was never a notarization delay. All of them resolved as Rejected with statusCode 7000, "Team is not yet configured for notarization. Please contact Developer Programs Support", with "issues": null and "ticketContents": null — the archive is never analyzed. The 14 KB control binary fails identically, so it is not my build or my signing. Everything on my side checks out: Apple Developer Program License Agreement accepted 2026-09-10, Free Apps Agreement active 2026-09-10 to 2027-09-10, membership paid and current, Account Holder, Developer ID Application certificate issued 2026-09-11 10:41 UTC signing with hardened runtime and a secure timestamp. The odd part: one submission did succeed. 1becd424-2ede-4044-b432-7f3afc646270 at 2026-09-11 11:18 UTC returned statusCode 0, "Ready for distribution", with a valid ticket, while 11:17 and everything from 14:39 onward the same day return 7000. So the team was configured for the notary service for a few minutes and then lost it. Team ID T36RPB6Z2G. Developer Support case 102960565715 is open, but the case page now says the issue is related to my Apple Account and points me to getsupport.apple.com, which has no Developer Program topic at all — searching "developer" there only offers App Store, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. So I have no working channel to the team that can actually fix this. If you can route the 7000 to whoever owns notary service provisioning, that would help a lot — this is blocking a release.

Update: filed as FB24786941. Still no movement — the oldest submission (76bd3fd2-657c-4c3c-9c6b-6e7bc789fb4e) has now been "In Progress" for over 96 hours, and so has a 14 KB control binary signed the same way, so this is not about my app or my credentials. syspolicy_check distribution Kernally.app reports the expected consequence: App has failed one or more pre-distribution checks. Notary Ticket Missing — Severity: Fatal Suggested Fix: … please make sure to attach the ticket with stapler staple. There is nothing to staple: the app has been uploaded five times and not one of those uploads has returned a verdict. I have stopped submitting so as not to lengthen the queue. Could someone from Apple check whether that first submission is being held, and release it? This is blocking the first signed release.
