Some people have recommended switching to the Discourse forum software used by other forums like the Swift forums. It allows editing posts for longer and has an edit history feature. Discourse also has many other features that the Apple Developer Forums don't have.

This issue happens in the latest iOS 17, 18, and 26 simulators. I have not tested older simulators like iOS 15 or 16. I am using Xcode 26.4 (17E192), Simulator 16.0 (1063.2) (SimulatorKit 955.7, CoreSimulator 1051.49) and macOS Tahoe 26.4.

Previously, I remember there being a "Device support" package that you could download separately from the Xcode beta that would allow creating virtual machines without needing to install the Xcode beta. Is this correct? Will there be anything similar this year?
