Following up with what fixed this, in case someone else has an empty product list on subscriptions that are already Approved. Country availability was already set. The fix was signing an agreement the Account Holder had not signed yet. Our Apple Developer Program membership had not expired. The agreement could still need a signature while its status showed Active, and before the membership deadline. After it was signed, StoreKit returned our products again on App Store builds.

We are seeing a very similar issue with established production auto-renewable subscriptions. In our case, these subscription products have been Approved, live, and successfully purchased/renewed in production for years. There were no relevant app releases or App Store Connect configuration changes when the issue began. Starting around September 1, 2026, StoreKit suddenly began returning no products for our existing subscription identifiers. The request completes without an error, but the returned product collection is empty. At roughly the same time, we also started seeing abnormal renewal behavior for existing subscribers, including subscriptions entering Billing Retry and subscription status appearing as unknown. We have verified that: the products are still Approved and active product identifiers have not changed agreements, banking, and tax are active there was no corresponding app update there was no subscription configuration change Because these products had been functioning normally in production for years before this sudden change, this does not appear to be an initial configuration or propagation issue. We have also opened a support case with Apple. Our issue began around September 1, 2026.
