We're using laptops on home WiFi or public WiFi networks so I don't think we're using mDNS. Not sure what uDNS is. We're using Safari to visit public domains like google.com. When we do this, in Wireshark we see the DNS query going to a local DNS server on the network, not to our internet DNS server.
