Reply to Creating playgrounds from a template does nothing
@DTS Engineer I've encountered the same issue, and since I noticed no reply from the OP, I decided to contribute what was requested. Filed via Feedback Assistant: Bug A (template creation does not switch to the new playground): FB25330615 Bug B (templates only offer Swift 5.8/5.9 editions although 4.7 ships Swift 6): FB25330650 The back-navigation workaround works, and the created playground is intact. I have also reproduced this on macOS 27.0.1 (26A434), Swift Playground 4.7 (2088), 6/6 attempts: a new "Get Started with Code copy.playgroundbook" appears in the Playgrounds folder about 6 seconds after clicking Get, while the app stays on the template page. A screen recording of the click → spinner → revert is attached to FB25330615, along with a sysdiagnose. The 5.8/5.9 edition labels are covered in FB25330650.
