App store connect validation failed with CFBundleIdentifier Collision
We have a client with an application that includes a main application, NSEs (Notification Service Extensions) as an extension, and framework1 embedded within the main application. The NSEs also require framework1 as a dependency. When we embedded framework1 within the NSEs, the App Store Connect validation failed with the following error: Validation failed (409) CFBundleIdentifier Collision. There is more than one bundle with the CFBundleIdentifier value 'com.test.xyz-LoggerUtility' under the iOS application 'test.app'. (ID: -----------) We've observed an issue specifically when uploading to App Store Connect. We're able to debug and distribute the application without any problems using our enterprise distribution.

encountering a console warning when accessing NSUserDefaults within the willFinishLaunchingWithOptions method. However, it appears that all the key values are loading correctly despite the warning.

[iOS 26] [CallKit] [SDK 26] Application got crashed while App was Inactive
The crash log, an IPS file, indicates a crash occurred at a specific time, with the exception backtrace pointing to _terminateAppIfThereAreUnhandledVoIPPushes. However, cross-reference with the SysDiagnose logs, there is no corresponding process or activity for the application at the reported crash time. The app was not active, nor was it woken up by any event. IPS file and SysDiagnose logs have been attached in the Feedback. Feedback - FB20044587

[iOS 26] [Satellite] Inconsistent network path reporting during Satellite-to-LTE transitions causes Status Bar and App UI mismatch
Satellite Communication framework, experiences a failure in receiving network path updates when a device transitions from Satellite to a fringe LTE area. The iOS Status Bar correctly updates to show "LTE," but our application does not receive the corresponding network path update (e.g., via NWPathMonitor). This leaves our app UI locked in "Satellite Mode," while the user sees "LTE" in the status bar, causing critical user confusion. Feedback: FB20976940

CallKit: Rejecting a Cellular Call Also Rejects Application Video Call
Rejecting a Cellular Call Also Rejects Application Video Call Steps: 1.When a user receives a cellular call and it is in the "ringing" state and application receives a video call which is reported to CallKit 2.User rejects the Cellular call from Callkit UI, Video call is also getting rejected. 3.Application is receiving performEndCallAction when user is rejecting the Cellular call As a part of CXcallobserver Application is receiving call connected then disconnected for the cellular call Irrespective of OS, the issue only reproduces on cellular calls if Live Voicemail is enabled. Issue is not reproduced when Live Voicemail is disabled for cellular calls, and it is not reproducing on FaceTime calls, regardless of the Live Voicemail setting. This results in a poor user experience because: The recipient unintentionally misses the CallKit-reported call. The initiator receives confusing and inaccurate status information, believing the recipient is busy rather than having chosen to decline the pending video call.

Using `NSProcessInfo.systemUptime` to Detect Device Restarts: Feasibility and Background Considerations
"We are developing an application use case that requires us to prompt the user to restart their device. We plan to use the system uptime value provided by [NSProcessInfo processInfo].systemUptime to determine if a restart has occurred. Apple's documentation defines this API as 'The amount of time the system has been awake since the last time it was restarted.' Our questions are: Can we reliably use this API, in conjunction with persistent storage, to detect a device restart? Are there any known limitations or considerations when accessing or relying on this API while the application is running in the background?"

[KeyChain Framework] KeyChain Item is accessible post App Transfer without rebuilding the KeyChain
We have utilised the KeyChain Framework for Adding items into KeyChain. We have Generated KeyPair using 'SecKeyGeneratePair' API as below (OSStatus)generateAssymetricKeyPair:(NSUInteger)bitSize{ OSStatus sanityCheck = noErr; SecKeyRef publicKeyRef = NULL; SecKeyRef privateKeyRef = NULL; NSString *appGrpIdentifier = @"group.com.sample.xyz" // Set the private key attributes. Could you please explain in detail on this. https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/transfer-an-app/overview-of-app-transfer Keychain sharing continues to work only until the app is updated. Therefore, you must rebuild the keychain when submitting updates. If your keychain group is defined in the Xcode project, replace it with a group created by the recipient, incorporating their Team ID for continued keychain sharing. After the update, users must re-login once as the app cannot retrieve the authentication token from the keychain.

Does the OS has dedicated volume levels for each AVAudioSessionCategory.
We have an VoiP application, our application can be configured to amplify the PCM samples before feeding it to the Player to achieve volume gain at the receiver. In order to support this, We follow as below. If User has configured this Gain Settings within application, Application applies the amplification for the samples to introduce the gain. Application will also set the AVAudioSessionCategory to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayback Provided the User has chosen the output to Speaker. This settings was working for us but we see there is a difference in behaviour w.r.t Volume Level System Settings between OS 26.3.1 and OS 26.4 When user has chosen earpiece as Output, then we will set the AVAudioSessionCategory to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayAndRecord. User would have set the volume level to minimum. When user will change the output to Speaker, then we will set the AVAudioSessionCategory to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayback. The expectation is, the volume level should be of AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayback what was set earlier instead we are seeing the volume level stays as minimum which was set to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayAndRecord Could you please explain about this inconsistency w.r.t Volume level.

CrashSymbolicator Script Failing to symbolicate the new JSON-format crash logs
As per Xcode 13 Release Notes - To support the new JSON-format crash logs generated in macOS Monterey and iOS 15, Instruments includes a new CrashSymbolicator.py script. This Python 3 script replaces the symbolicatecrash utility for JSON-format logs and supports inlined frames with its default options. For more information, see: CrashSymbolicator.py --help. CrashSymbolicator.py is located in the Contents/SharedFrameworks/CoreSymbolicationDT.framework/Resources/ subdirectory within Xcode 13. (78891800) usage: CrashSymbolicator.py [-h] [-d dSYM] [-s SEARCH_PATH] [-o OUTPUT_FILE] [-p] [-w N] [--no-inlines] [--no-source-info] [--only-missing] [--no-system-frameworks] [--no-demangle] [-v] LOGFILE Symbolicate a crash log python3 CrashSymbolicator.py -d PATH_TO_DSYMS -o PATH_TO_OUTPUT CRASH_LOG_FILE When we run this command getting the following errors Traceback (most recent call last): File "CrashSymbolicator.py", line 502, in symbolicate(args) File "CrashSymbolicator.py", line 482, in symbolicate crash_log.write_to(args.output, args.pretty) File "/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/SharedFrameworks/CoreSymbolicationDT.framework/Versions/A/Resources/JSONCrashLog/JSONCrashLog.py", line 167, in write_to ips_header_dictionary = vars(self.ips_header) TypeError: vars() argument must have dict attribute
