I am experiencing the same issue, is there any known workaround?

I am experiencing exactly the same issue with my app on a QNAP NAS. The Files App on iOS shows the correct content, but the FileManager api's ( return empty enumerations. Interestingly I could check it with a synology was and it works there flawlessly. I have also tried the retry mentioned above with calling the same method twice, with no success. Did someone found a different workaround?

Interesting. Is there any issue where I could track that status on the swift language? And is there any other known workaround beside copying the related declarations together in one file?
