It's 2025 and I found this very useful! I was so frustrated that I wasn't able to see the zones and records I was creating on the CloudKit console, the problem was using different Apple Developer accounts...

I was able to disable iCloud sync using iOS18 and the code suggested by mcomisso in this thread https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/743863
