The reason it's presented here, is that this issue has been going on since Mac OS 13 or 14... We've been through 15, and now into 26, and the problem is still there. It's been reported to Apple Support and it's not being dealt with. Even under MacOS 9 this was easily a switch. What's wrong here, and why is no one able to willing to resolve this? If support just gets 'it'll be addressed in a future release" and it isn't being addressed, then the developers aren't hearing about it. Help!
