For what its worth: I experienced this issue as well on the iOS 18 simulator, but now when using the Xcode 26 beta with iOS 26 beta it works as expected. Before (iOS 18.5) After (iOS 26.0) Note: I'm using Flutter, not native code. but I experienced the exact same issues described above
