I'm seeing similar issues with beta 4, 5 and 6 now with symptoms similar to @jtfrench. I've taken a sample of SpringBoard and it always seems to be consuming all of the CPU in STStatusDomainXPCClientHandle, trying to do something with simulator entitlements.
