iOS 27 Beta Toggle in iOS Navigation Toolbar with custom label always appears selected
I've filed this as FB23714849 too, but I'm running into an issue with the Toggle component when displayed in a toolbar and a more complex label is used. This worked fine in iOS 26. Minimal repro example + screenshot: struct ContentView: View { @State var toggleState1 = false @State var toggleState2 = false var body: some View { NavigationStack { Text("Hello, world!") .toolbar { // THIS ITEM (leading) WORKS AS EXPECTED ToolbarItem(placement: .topBarLeading) { Toggle("Working", systemImage: "heart", isOn: $toggleState2) } // THIS ITEM (trailing) DOES NOT TOGGLE AS EXPECTED // It always appears enabled even when it should not ToolbarItem(placement: .topBarTrailing) { Toggle(isOn: $toggleState1) { Image(systemName: "star") } } } } } } My ultimate goal is to have a menu here where I can make the menu's label appear as a selected toggle (e.g. to display that one of a few filters is enabled). This is the case as of iOS Developer Beta 3 (and I believe the prior iOS 27 betas).

SwiftUI Map Annotation Coordinate Animation
Hi, I have a SwiftUI Map with a set of three annotations. These annotations move around, and I would like to animate their movement from one coordinate to another, but I'm not finding a way to do that. I've tried using withAnimation { } when setting my array of Identifiable models that back the Annotations, and I've tried adding the .animation(.default, annotationModels) modifier to my Map object (where annotationModels is the array that backs my Annotations). The animation modifier doesn't work on Annotation structs, and it doesn't work if I add the animation modifier within the Annotation's view either. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to animate the coordinates of annotations using a SwiftUI Map? Does the problem have to do with the fact that I have an array of these annotations?

Possible to start a live activity on watchOS 11?
I'm excited to bring my Live Activity to Apple Watch via the .supplementalActivityFamilies([.small]) modifier. However, I'm also wondering whether it is possible for my watchOS app, separately, to initiate a Live Activity and receive updates for it via push notification. From my testing it seems like no, but the function call itself can be made, since ActivityKit is available on watchOS. Are there any other recommendations for how to go about initiating a Live Activity from a watchOS app? Would I have to communicate with a companion iOS app to start the Live Activity on the phone instead?

Typography on Apple Watch Live Activity
I'm not quite sure whether this post belongs in a Design forum or here, but with iOS 18 Developer Beta 1 and watchOS 11 Developer Beta 1, when a Live Activity is displayed on an Apple Watch, the system font used is SF Pro rather than SF Compact. I would expect that the design guidance would be to stick with SF Compact while on watchOS, and I would expect that the system font, when displayed on the Apple Watch using .supplementalActivityFamilies([.small]), would appear as SF Compact. To ensure that SF Compact appears on my Live Activity when viewed on Apple Watch, I can set a custom font for use with the small supplemental family, but this seems really clunky; is there any other guidance here?
