Other answers didn't give you a full answer, and I figured this out, so thought I'd share my simple solution, right click (or ctrl click) each item you want the icon for, click get info, at top left click and highlight the icon - then in the mac edit menu, select "copy 6 items", open the preview app, click File New from Clipboard 😊 Enjoy your icon images, edit them, do whatever you like with them, just remember, they are the property of Apple, so use them for personal use, like for customising other systems you own, or like me, for customising my virtual machines looks to match my mac environment 😊
