Thank you for your quick response and for the information! Follow up question - can DriveKit be used to communicate with a non-MFi HID device (a third party CCID reader)? Should I create a driver using DriveKit directly or should the reader be MFi certified and only after that certification will I be able to use DriveKit (or a Security framework) to communicate with the reader and get information from the card (like the certificate, etc.)?
