If this is the bug in Xcode that I think it is (https://openradar.appspot.com/32787072), then there’s this ‘one weird trick’: Input any number of letters in the File filter (The input box at the bottom of the file explorer) With the filter active, close your Xcode immediately Reopen Xcode
