CloudKit RecordZone sharing limit

In hierarchical sharing of CKRecord there used to be a limit of 5000 records. Does the same limit apply to CloudKit RecordZoneSharing? Our use case demands that each user create a shared record zone and invite all participants to collaborate with in the share. A user can have one or more shared record zone.

Getting the following error in the console when trying to create a ckshare in the production app
