thank you for your reply. diffing the scene is a good idea. until now, I had no idea how to even approach the bug hunting, since it seems not connected to any interaction / changes nor code.
it is most likely the serialization of scene data. I'll keep you updated and try to reproduce it.

i would be interested too, to modify the videomaterial, in my case, i'd like to manipulate the alpha channel with a texture. it would be cool of we could change the unlying unlit shader of the videomaterial with shadergraph in reality composer pro.
