I'm hitting this from the developer side. My app (Kuri) syncs work calendar events to a shared family calendar as "Busy" blocks via EKEventStore.save(). Each save fires a "new event" notification on subscribers' devices — 20–60 notifications per sync run. There's no public EventKit API to suppress this. I've filed FB24524033 requesting either a suppressChangeNotification flag or a batch transaction API. Please help!
