Same issue here: mac book pro 2019 - now is Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261), few weeks ago shutdown and reser SMC helped - still was pain in the *** to do it everyday.. but now even this trick did not help - cannot see external LG monitor. Before Monterey was working like charm!
