But now I'm getting this error *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'Focus item <UITabBarButton: 0x12c086990> does not provide a parentFocusEnvironment. This happens when I open the app again after minimising it once.

Same here, production app is crashing because of this reason. Customers are waiting for a fix. Installing a beta is too risky for a production app. Furthermore, I believe this issue might be because of updated RealmSwift lib. Many of us here might be facing this issue because of this.
