i bought this iPad particularly for gaming because of which I’m disappointed. Even after PUBG and Codm optimised on their own ,It is still NOT smooth as the 2020 model. Is m1 chip not at all for gaming?
M1 iPad lagging in gaming
It’s honestly really bad. I have 2 M1 2021 iPad Pros and gaming performance is really bad. The thing heats up like crazy and it can’t even run Genshin Impact on medium resolution with med-low graphics at 60 FPS smoothly.
Extremely disappointing for games, not worth half its price.
I mean the iPad is even lagging when I am using freeform to take note. The chips seem impressive compared to other devices on the market. But I still don't think they are powerful enough.
