I want to create an app (just for me :D) That will change app icons of other apps, with code. I planned to use something like a shortcuts API if there is one, to dynamically create shortcuts.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Changing the app icon requires changing the plist. Not possible programmatically.
However; you can get a similar result manually with shortcuts:

I doubt you can do the same programmatically, because that would mean an app could create havoc in a user device… Not a problem if you do it for yourself, but pretty bad for others.
