Submit an App Appeal: How many times can you appeal an App guideline violation?

Hi community members!

I would extremley appreciate help or advice on this urgent question! 🙏

We randomly received a notification that our app was re-evaluated and was in violation of not complying to IAP guidelines.

We do not have IAP. I responded multiple times to the message explaining details to explain how our app works, the guidelines we comply to etc. In response from the App store, I got the same message of the guideline they consider that we violate and suggesting that we submit an appeal for this violation (keep in mind we only have 12 days).

Before we submit an appeal, does anyone know how many appeals you can submit overall. I know we can only submit 1 appeal per rejection...However, If we submit an appeal, and it gets rejected, can we submit another appeal, and so on? Or do we only get one chance?

If anyone in the community can help provide any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

May be interesting to know, but that should not change the fact that you'd better be decisive with the first appeal. My understanding is that there is one appeal only, if rejected after, it's over.

Hi Claude31,

Thank you for very much for your response, this is super helpful! I have a few questions if possible as I am curious, have you been in the same situation? Or can you share any experiences of others that have been in this situation that you may have come across? Is your understanding based on anything you read online? Any idea on who I can contact to get more info? I tried submitting a request for clarification, still haven't hear back.

Thanks again and I am really looking forward to your response.
