Hello, I'm working with a development team, and we're at the point of deploying the app to the app store. They are asking me for my apple dev credentials to link the account to Xcode and create a matching cert. I have added them as Admins to the instance, so do I need to give them my User Name and Password?
I'm very wary of doing this, I would love to know if there is another way.
I would never give my Password to anyone.
Do they need to add you or do you have to add them ? Who is the admin ?
Normally they should just add you on their team, without need of your password. Then you'll receive a notification to accept or not.
Or meet with them and do what is needed from your account. But do not give the password, unless you have absolute trust in them (but how can you ?).

Is your Apple Developer account as an Individual or an Organization?
"Individual" accounts cannot add external team members.

If you have signed up as an Individual, you will either have to do some of the work yourself (certificates, app upload, etc), or trust your developers.
