Account deletion. Manual process - getting back to the user.

Hello,

I would like to consult account deletion process in the app.

We manually delete the user account across many systems including our several databases, mailing lists, customer service ticketing SW, etc.

Once we get a deletion request, we find the user via email in our database, but then only work with the unique user ID to proceed with the deletion. So once we delete all the user data, we have no way to track the deletion back to the original email.

To sum it up, our manual deletion process is guaranteed to be completed in 14 days, we just don't have a way to contact the user once it is completed as we do not possess user's contact information anymore.

Do you have any tips? Do we have to contact them after deletion? Thank you very much.

Contact them at the start of the deletion process and say "we won't contact you at the end of the deletion process, because at the end of the process, we won't have your contact details any more. If you would like confirmation, you may contact us in 14 days; we will not say 'your account has been deleted' but we will say 'who are you?'".

An intelligent user will understand this.

(P.S. I have no idea what requirements Apple has.)

I had created a developer account over a year ago for my small business, It was more of a log in and out after seeing how advanced things were. I’ve had a ton of malicious activity and I cannot escape it. Going into the apple store was never helpful, they just purge my devices and then it comes right back bc of the cloud I assume. SW is my initials, I’m wondering if I’m the user?
