Am I allowed to name my app "iPad-Engine"

Hi folks,

I want to create a game engine for iPads, with which you can create your own games directly on your device and export them. But I want to use the name "iPad-Engine" for this new app and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use the name "iPad-Engine". Is this name allowed or should I use another one? Is it also possible to use PythonKit on iOS?

Sincerely yours, Atten007😊

iPad is trademarked. AFAIK, you are not authorised to use it.

See Legal requirements here: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/marketing/guidelines/

In any case, you cannot use iPad as is, you have to use iPad®

In addition, it could fall under guideline:

5.2.4 Apple Endorsements: Don’t suggest or imply that Apple is a source or supplier of the App, or that Apple endorses any particular representation regarding quality or functionality.

you can create your own games directly on your device and export them

You may have problems with this aspect as well. Presumably you can import these games on other devices. That is probably not allowed. It's certainly not allowed if it is "code".

"iPad-Engine".

I have an app whose name is ".... for iPad", which is allowed. I think "iPad-Engine" is unlikely to be accepted though.

I also think it's a bad name. It's neither very descriptive, nor is it very creative.
