Since updating to iOS 18 beta, I’ve experienced several issues with CarPlay. Google Maps often crashes and goes blank, making it difficult to use for directions. This problem affects other apps as well, but it’s most noticeable with Google Maps. Before this update, Google Maps worked perfectly fine.

Same here the Google map screen goes blue with only the vehicle direction sign visible. After few seconds the map appears…. This happens several times in a time frame of 10 minutes. please help….
Issue remains solid on 18.3. Connect via CarPlay adapter (Bluetooth to Wi-Fi). Solid connection for 90 minutes trip. Map updates, music plays
When engaging ROUTING the service runs and seems to consistently hand the video navigation portion when in most congested traffic areas. Routing instructions continue, watch updates, but CarPlay video drops. Very distracting and could likely cause an accident. This is a serious bug
switching back to car infotainment and re-engaging CarPlay seems to clear the bug. But this is something that should not happen
