I just installed Xcode 27.1 beta and downloaded the iOS 27.1 runtime as soon as Xcode launched.

But iPhone Duo was nowhere to be seen in the list of simulators!

…Or not before I went to Settings… → Components and hit the Update button next to iOS 27.1 beta and downloaded it "again". Hope this helps!

Did you see Xcode 27.2 Beta Release Notes?

Important

The iOS SDK and simulator support for iPhone Duo will be available later this month in an upcoming release of Xcode 27.1.

So should be available before the end of September.

Check if there is a new beta 1 release, it could be there (see comment in this thread: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/845505).

I was able to add the Duo as a simulator, same as the others.

Device Hub > "+" > iPhone... > iPhone Duo

It did act a little bit wonky when I ran it from Xcode 26.6 initially (opened two simulator windows, no options to switch between open/closed), but once I ran it from 27.1 it's now behaving with all of the different versions of Xcode.
