Can the App Clip banner for full app download be disabled?
Hello, I have a question about the default UI in an App Clip. I know that when App Clip launches, a system banner appears at the top for a few seconds, prompting the user to download the full app from the App Store. I'd like to confirm if this is the standard, default behavior for all App Clips. More importantly, is there any way to disable or hide this banner? We would prefer to manage the prompt to download the full app within our own UI. Thanks in advance for your help!

ASAM supported App on MacOS
I'd like to write a MacOS App that makes use of the ASAM functonality as described here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/autonomoussingleappmode I have tried to use the example with Safari, and have enrolled a Mac with MDM and installed the profile. But when opening Safari it does not appear in Single App Mode. I've only tried it with Safari so far but eventually I want to be able to use my own App. Is there an API that has to be used to enter single app mode programmatically? I've found the whole Assessment API but as I do not have the required entitlements to use that API I'm looking for another solution. The documentation on ASAM does not mention the Assessment API at all, is it the only way to enter "a" single app mode on MacOS? How is the Assessment API linked to ASAM? As far as I have understood there's the com.apple.developer.automatic-assessment-configuration entitlement but apps having this do not need to be configured via MDM? I'm really confused as to what's actually required to be able to get into single app mode on MacOS. The app I'm trying to write isn't really related to an an assessment task, but I am doing this for an academic institution so maybe requesting the entitlement would be feasable. The documentation on ASAM also mentions that the App is granted access to the "Accessibility" API and I've found the whole UIAccessibility/requestGuidedAccessSession but this does not seem to be available on MacOS proper? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Live Caller ID Lookup - Error on Refresh PIR Parameters
Hello. I've implemented the Live Caller ID Lookup feature in my app, but sometimes I get a weird error. When I call LiveCallerIDLookupManager.shared.refreshPIRParameters(...) from my app, it sometimes throws an error: Error Domain=com.apple.CipherML Code=1100 "Unable to query status due to errors: The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection., NSErrorFailingURLKey=http://www.example.com/config}}} What does this error mean? And where did the example.com part come from? What should I do to get rid of this error? My Service URL is hardcoded in the Live Caller ID Lookup Extension of my app and it is definitely not example.com.

iOS 26 Empty Stack Crash
When we compile our app using Xcode 26 and run it on iOS 26, we encounter a strange crash where the crashing thread shows no stack trace. After inspecting the registers, we have initially traced it to the Google Mobile Ads SDK. When we disable the initialization of the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the app no longer crashes. However, running the Google Mobile Ads SDK demo app on iOS 26 alone does not cause any issues; the crash only occurs once it is integrated into our app. We also tried enabling Address Sanitizer and Zombie Objects but found no valuable clues. Could you advise what other methods or tools we can use to further diagnose this issue? Additionally, when we compile the app with Xcode 15 and run it on iOS 26, everything works fine without crashes. app-2025-09-19-161044.ips.txt

Texas age verification: revoked consent & notifications?
The published "Next steps for apps distributed in Texas" says "A parent or guardian in Texas can withdraw consent for any app, which will block launching of the app on the child or teen’s device." My question is: will this also block notifications sent to that app from showing up on that device? Or will notifications still be delivered to the notification center, even though the app can't be launched? (Specifically, notifications sent from a server via Firebase topic/token). If notifications are not blocked automatically, what is the expected flow for this scenario? My app sends notifications from a server like this. I could implement client-side code to say "if consent is revoked, unsubscribe from notifications", but if the OS blocks launching of the app, this client-side code would never run. Similarly, I could subscribe to the server notifications for when consent is revoked, but my app is free & accountless, so I'm not aware of any information in the server notification that I could use to identify the specific user whose notifications should be stopped. (For example my users won't have an appAccountToken because they never made a purchase). Guidance would be much appreciated. I'm trying to comply with the law but I don't know how.

Associated domain not recognised
I have a public and accessible .well-known/apple-app-site-association file for both my domain.com and subdomain.domain.com with "paths": ["*"] . Both example.com and blog.example.com are added in Associated domains and any link that contains domain.com and domain.com/path normally deep links into my app. I used to have an *.example.com that successfully deep linked all my subdomains into my app but now I had to remove it as some subdomains will need to link to other apps, but some should still link to the same app. I removed * but left blog.example.com as that specific subdomain still needs to deep link into my app. But now blog.example.com is not even being recognized by my app and any link starting with blog.example.com just opens in safari. What am I missing? Why is this happening ?

[iOS 26][SDK 26] Application never received providerDidBegin(_:) delegate
Observed few times that providerDidBegin(_:) delegate never called for the complete app session after app init(as part of this CXProvider registered) which was built with SDK 26 and running on iOS 26. This issue observed multiple times with our testing. Since there is no providerDidBegin:, client is marking CallKit as not ready and never report any calls for VoIP APNS and ended up in app crash due to "[PKPushRegistry _terminateAppIfThereAreUnhandledVoIPPushes]" Please refer for sysdiagnose logs : FB19778306

Delays When Creating Advanced App Clip Experiences for Other Businesses
Hey there, I have an app where I create custom Advanced App Clip Experiences for other businesses which seems to be a valid thing. I do create them via API. Upon creation everything looks fine: when I go to App Store Connect -> App -> Advanced App Clip Experiences, I do see the new App Clip Experience I've just created. Their status is Received (as any other active experiences) and have a custom URL. The issue is weird timing when the Advanced App Clip Experience actually becomes available on the iPhone (can be triggered via App Clip Code, etc). Some experiences become available literally immediately but others take days (some take 1-2 days, some take ~5 days). I'm not sure why there's a bid difference for an Advanced App Clip to be actually active. Does anyone have any kind of experience with that? I don't change domain settings, app's settings, etc. I'm just creating a new experience (both via API or manually at App Store Connect) and I do have different "activation" times for different App Clips. Same when I delete an Advanced App Clip Experience, it will still be available for next couple days. I get there might be caching stuff, etc. But the difference is quite huge and makes no sense since as I've mentioned some clips become available immediately but some takes days to be available. Thank you!

Request for Guidance on Deployment to Production Environment
Hello Team, We are currently experiencing a challenge deploying our application to the production environment. This is because the previous deployment was done using an old account, whereas we have now created a new organizational account that we are using to deploy the updated and modified version of the application. Kindly advise on the best practice to resolve this and proceed with the deployment.

How can I open a GPX file in my app with iOS 26 “Files” app?
Hi, I’m trying to open a GPX file (route.gpx) from the Files app on my iPhone using my app (e.g., Aqua Map). Since the latest iOS update (iOS 26), when I long-press the file and tap “Open with…”, my app does not appear in the list anymore. I’ve checked that my app has the correct permissions for Files and Folders. I’m wondering: Is this a user-side issue (Settings on iPhone)? Or does it require developer-side changes in the app (Info.plist / UTI declarations) to make .gpx files appear in “Open with…” or “Share” menus? What is the proper way to make my app appear as an option to open GPX files in Files.app on iOS 26? Thanks in advance!

Translation API & Download Language Sheet
Using Apple SwiftUI Translate library: when calling: try await session.prepareTranslation() the first time, the API's Language Download sheet does not show (or shows briefly and dismisses immediately) Even when the sheet doesn't show, the keyboard is lowered, as though the sheet would be appearing, but then the keyboard raises as though the sheet was dismissed. AlarmKit - Alarm triggers twice at 00:00 and second fullscreen alarm view becomes unresponsive
When an alarm is scheduled for 00:00, the system displays the fullscreen alarm interface twice. After the second fullscreen view appears, both the “Stop” and “Snooze” buttons become unresponsive, but using the physical button (volume or power button) can dismiss the alarm and correctly trigger the StopIntent. This behavior occurs consistently (100%), whether the system time is set normally or manually adjusted before the alarm triggers. iOS magnetometer data processing
Hello, I’m developing an app to detect movement past a strong magnet, targeting both Android and iOS. On Android, I’m using the Sensor API, which provides calibrated readings with temperature compensation, factory (or online) soft-iron calibration, and online hard-iron calibration. The equivalent on iOS appears to be the CMCalibratedMagneticField data from the CoreMotion framework. However, I’m encountering an issue with the iOS implementation. The magnetometer data on iOS behaves erratically compared to Android. While Android produces perfectly symmetric peaks, iOS shows visual peaks that report double the magnetic field strength. Additionally, there’s a "pendulum" effect: the field strength rises, drops rapidly, rises again to form a "double peak" structure, and takes a while to return to the local Earth magnetic field average. The peaks on iOS are also asymmetric. I’m wondering if this could be due to sensor fusion algorithms applied by iOS, which might affect the CMCalibratedMagneticField data. Are there other potential reasons for this behavior? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Recorded video looks blurry, color-washed, low bitrate, compressed using ScreenCaptureKit
Hello everyone, I am trying to implement ScreenCaptureKit into my project, I am using MacOs 26 for the target version and followed this official project from apple regarding the screencapture kit. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/ScreenCaptureKit/capturing-screen-content-in-macos I used the official exact code and implemented in my app, but the results are not good. The video look blurry, unclear, lost colors and its like 720p honestly. The 1st video frame t is result when I integrate it in my app. After that, I used another app ( which was built in electron, they were using screencapturekit as well ) and there results were a lot better. The 2nd video frame is when I recorded using their application. It appears as close to as system display I tried multiple things, but no impressive results. For my purpose, I want to the final recorded video to be as good as the display quality of the system. I also applied .hdr local display and coronolicial, but no help with that as well. Changed codecs to .mov, .hevc, but still no help Why is not the recoded video as high quality as the display

UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Unable to query status due to errors: The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection., NSUnderlyingError=0x118f65740 {Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1022 "The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection., NSErrorFailingURLKey=http://www.example.com/config}}} What does this error mean?

The following Errors are printed in the console dozens of times; but on all subsequent executions, the API Language Download sheet shows as expected. The trigger code is in a function which is executed when a Translate button is tapped. Any ideas would be welcome!
Environment: Device: iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS Version: 26.0 Reproducibility: 100%

iOS magnetometer data processing
