Subscribe button does nothing in App Review, but In
Hello, My app "MyCourses" (bundle id: com.ahmedbaqer.mycourses) was rejected under Guideline 2.1 because "No action followed when we tapped the button to subscribe to a course" on iPadOS 26.1. When I run the same code (version 1.0.0 (11)) from Xcode on a real device using a StoreKit configuration file (In App Purchase.storekit), the purchase flow works correctly: When I tap the "Subscribe via Apple" button, the App Store purchase sheet appears. The purchase completes successfully and unlocks the course. I use the in_app_purchase Flutter plugin and queryProductDetails to load products. However, when I install the build via TestFlight (and in App Review), tapping the same "Subscribe via Apple" button does nothing – which matches the behavior described by App Review. From my logs it looks like queryProductDetails is returning an empty productDetails list in that environment. For In‑App Purchases: I created 7 non‑consumable products in App Store Connect. Their Product IDs exactly match the IDs in my In App Purchase.storekit file (used only for local Xcode testing). All IAPs are now in "Waiting for Review" status and are linked to the iOS app version 1.0.0 (11) in the “In‑App Purchases and Subscriptions” section. At the time of the original review, some IAPs were in "Developer Action Needed / Rejected" state, so I suspect queryProductDetails may have returned no products and the reviewer saw no action after tapping the button. My questions: When IAP products are in "Waiting for Review" and linked to the app version, should queryProductDetails return them during App Review / TestFlight, or do they need to be fully approved first? Is there any additional configuration required so that the subscribe button reliably shows the App Store purchase sheet for reviewers (for example, any specific StoreKit / sandbox settings)? Are there recommended best practices to show a clearer error state when queryProductDetails returns no products, so that App Review understands this is a configuration / IAP-status issue rather than a UI bug? Any guidance from Apple engineers or other developers who faced a similar situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

AppStore response times for the store test environment to make purchases is very long.
I enter the payment wall, there it takes more or less 3 to 4 minutes to show the plans, when I select the monthly plan the loader is shown and from there the pop up to make the purchase in sandbox does not appear, I have waited until a maximum of 50 minutes and it is not shown, I go back and close the app I do the same steps and I am still there, without showing the pop up. Doing this same process in xcode, everything happens immediately without any interruption.

Subscription IAP - SubscriptionStoreView results and errors - more info needed. FB19376771
FB19376771 Transactions monitoring. If I only have subscriptions, do I really need to "bother" with any sort of monitorTransactions() or just rely on subscription status (subscribed, revoked, cancelled ...) ? This is in line with Apple SKDemo and recommendation: // Only handle consumables and non consumables here. Check the subscription status each time // before unlocking a premium subscription feature. switch transaction.productType { ref: [https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/implementing-a-store-in-your-app-using-the-storekit-api) The "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" recommendation by Apple in ref to the process transaction code above is nuanced and confusing if we know what was with other external experts recommendation saying when using only SK2 Views : "This is where most developers trip up in trying to get an experience that App Review is happy" ... continuing : "Be careful: that Purchase View code alone isn’t enough, because one of the possible completion status is .pending: the purchase is in the process of happening but hasn’t completed yet, so you still need to watch the transaction queue manually to be absolutely sure of handling the process completely." Does this holds true for the new SubscriptionStoreView ? We are not sure with quite obscure Apple documentation what SubscriptionStoreView handles, other than purchase (and now subscribe) function, and we do not know what diverse type of error handling messages it can return. Moreover, Apple documents: "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" ? @Apple can you please share more insights on Purchase button on SubscriptionStoreView e.g A) does it close ( finish). the purchase transaction ? B) What error results can it return ? C) What .onInAppPurchaseCompletion can handle as result ?

AppTransactionId support in Get Transaction Info endpoint — documentation change and actual behavior?
Hello, I have a question regarding the App Store Server API's getTransactionInfo endpoint. Previously, the official documentation for getTransactionInfo mentioned that: “This endpoint doesn’t support an app transaction. To get information about an app transaction, decode the signed app transaction received from the device.” However, as of June 2025, I can no longer find this sentence in the current documentation (link). Now, the docs state that all in-app purchase transaction IDs are supported (consumable, non-consumable, auto-renewable subscriptions, etc.). But in practice, when I call getTransactionInfo with an AppTransactionId (extracted from a signed App Transaction JWS), I receive this error: apiErrorCode: 4000048 “Invalid request. App transactions aren’t supported by this endpoint.” Is this endpoint supposed to support AppTransactionId now, or is the restriction still in place (but not mentioned in the docs)? Is there any official statement about when this restriction was added/removed? Can you clarify if only in-app purchase transaction IDs (and not AppTransactionIds) are supported for this endpoint, or has the policy changed recently? Any clarification or historical context would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, I would like to know about the behavior of an App Transaction in the event of a refund. If a user receives a refund for the app itself (not an in-app purchase), how can changes to the AppTransaction be detected? Does the App Store Server Notification v2 provide notifications for app-level refunds, or are such events only visible by decoding the latest App Transaction JWS on the device? Is there any way to receive app-level refund information server-side, or must we always rely on the device to provide the updated signed app transaction? Any clarification on this refund flow and notification coverage would also be appreciated. Thank you!

Delete TestFlight in-app purchase record by using a real ID.
Hey guys, somehow I used my real ID(not sandbox test ID) to purchase a non-consumable item in the TestFlight package, no actual payment was made, but this payment record cannot be erased. Even though I know the transaction ID, I cannot initiate a refund like using refundRequestSheet(). Does anyone know how to deal with this, or there is no way to solve it?

Encountered issues when calling the sandbox environment interface to verify receipts during the development of the payment function
Currently, we are using the Apple V2 interface to develop the payment function. We generate a transaction ID on the mobile client and obtain the receipt. Now, when we call the Apple sandbox environment interface to verify the receipt, we always get a 404 error. The above is the request and response. The token used in it is also the original data after decoding, and there is no problem. Could you help me figure out what other possible reasons there might be?

Screen Rocorder plus Front Camera
I want to build an app for ios using react native. preferably expo. The app will be for recording user experiences with technology. the SLUDGE that they face while navigating through technology. I want to have basic login, signup. The main feature would be to have 2 recording modes. First is record the screen and the front camera simultaneously. Second is to record the back camera and the front camera simultaneously. I can then patch the two outputs later on that is the screen recording and the front camera clip in post processing. I want to know if this is possible as I was told that react native and expo does not have the support yet. if not is there any library or another approach to make this app come alive.

SubscriptionStoreView Localization Error
Hello! The localization isn't working when using SubscriptionStoreView. The app hasn't been published yet. The subscription has been created and localization strings have been added. Status - ready to submit. Testing environment: Sandbox When calling SubscriptionStoreView, the debug console shows this error: GenerativeModelsAvailability.Parameters: Initialized with invalid language code: ru-RU. Expected to receive two-letter ISO 639 code. e.g. 'zh' or 'en'. Falling back to: ru Despite this, the subscription interface appears in English when Russian is expected. I don't use any locale setting for ru-RU anywhere in my code. The test device's region is set to Russia, and the language is Russian. Any help would be appreciated.

In-App Subscriptions Not Fetching in Sandbox or Production (expo-iap / React Native / Bare Workflow)
Hi everyone, I’m encountering an issue with my in-app subscriptions setup. When I test using the StoreKit configuration file in Xcode, everything works correctly — the subscriptions are fetched and I can simulate purchases without any issues. However, when I switch to the Sandbox or Production environment, my app fails to fetch the available products from Apple’s servers. The call to fetchProducts (from the expo-iap library) returns an empty array. Here’s some context about my setup: Framework: React Native (Expo Bare Workflow) Library: expo-iap Products: Auto-renewable subscriptions StoreKit Configuration: Synced with App Store Connect Status: Subscription Plans are approved in App Store Connect I’ve verified the following: The product identifiers in code match exactly with those in App Store Connect. The app is signed with the correct bundle ID. I’m testing with a Sandbox account (logged in via Settings -> Developer -> Sandbox Tester Account). Despite this, the response from Apple’s servers still contains an empty array. Has anyone experienced something similar with expo-iap or in general when moving from StoreKit configuration to Sandbox/Production? Any suggestions on what else I could check or common pitfalls I might be missing? Thanks in advance!

unable to cancel test subscriptions
I tested a subscription with my developer account, it never charges but at the same time I can't cancel it anymore. It does not appear in the list of my official purchsed subscriptions. I tried to login to the sandbox with my developer account, but then when I click on "Manage" I just keep getting the error "Can't connect - retry". I have already tried to logout from all the services, App store, etc. and re-login, nothing worked. Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance to anyone who can give any tips.

Delete Offer Codes
Regarding the offer codes in https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/manage-subscriptions/set-up-offer-codes, I set up some incorrect offer codes by mistake. Currently, I can only deactivate it but I can't delete it. Is it possible to let me delete the incorrect offer codes due to the below reasons? Thank you. I can't recreate the offer code due to error message This reference name is or has been used by another offer in this subscription group. When I use the offer code redemption view in https://developer.apple.com/documentation/SwiftUI/View/offerCodeRedemption(isPresented:onCompletion:), it shows all the deactivated offer codes. I don't want them to be displayed in the page.

No notification on declined pending transaction
I'm working on adding a single Non-Consumable In-App purchase to my app. Essentially a "try before you buy" type thing. Limited functionality unless the app is purchased. I am currently testing this using Xcode and the Manage StoreKit Transactions window. So far most everything appears to be working except for declined pending transactions. If I set Ask to Buy to Enabled, the Ask Permission (for parent or guardian) dialog appears. After pressing the Ask button, I see a transaction listed as Pending Approval. If I Approve the transaction, then my app is notified and all is well. However, if I Decline the transaction then my app is not notified. Is that normal? Also, how do I (i.e. the app) know that there is a pending transaction?

Auto-renewable subscriptions not loading in React Native app after App Store approval when testing via Xcode
Hello, I’m facing an issue with auto-renewable subscriptions in my React Native iOS app using react-native-iap. Before App Store approval, everything worked perfectly — I could test in-app purchases and subscriptions locally on my iPhone through Xcode using a development build and sandbox tester. After the app was approved and released on the App Store, I needed to make some updates. Now, when I build and run the same project again through Xcode (Debug, development-signed) on my iPhone, the subscriptions no longer load. The same product IDs are approved and live in App Store Connect. The live version on the App Store works fine (subscriptions load and process successfully). But on the local Xcode build, getSubscriptions() returns invalid product identifiers or an empty list. No changes were made to the bundle ID or product IDs The build is signed with an Apple Development certificate and uses the same team and bundle identifier as the published app. “In-App Purchase” capability is enabled. I’ve also tried deleting the app, rebooting the device, and re-logging into a sandbox tester account, but the issue persists. It looks like the sandbox environment no longer works for the app after its first App Store release. Has anyone experienced this issue where the same approved app’s IAPs work in production but fail to load in sandbox/dev builds through Xcode after release? Any guidance on re-enabling sandbox testing for updates would be greatly appreciated. Environment: Xcode 26.0.1 React Native with react-native-iap Auto-renewable subscriptions (3 SKUs) Thank you!

# Critical Bug: Apple servers not generating com.apple.developer.storekit entitlement for App ID com.driftnotes.app
Problem Summary Apple's provisioning servers are not generating the com.apple.developer.storekit entitlement for App ID com.driftnotes.app (Team ID: 43Y6AG5NPY), making it impossible to build iOS apps for physical devices despite all configurations being correct. Environment macOS: 15.3.1 (24D70) Xcode: 16.1 (xcode-select version 2409) Flutter: 3.35.2 • channel stable Account: Individual Developer (Kazakhstan) Bundle ID: com.driftnotes.app Team ID: 43Y6AG5NPY Error Message Error (Xcode): Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: com.driftnotes.app" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.storekit entitlement. /Users/vyacheslavkuzin/Desktop/FlutterProjects/DriftNotesDart/ios/Runner.xcodeproj Steps to Reproduce Configure App ID with In-App Purchase capability (✅ verified in Developer Portal) Add In-App Purchase capability in Xcode project (✅ done) Configure entitlements file with StoreKit keys (✅ done) Enable automatic signing in Xcode (✅ done) Run: flutter build ios --release Build completes successfully ("Xcode build done. 13,8s") but fails at signing stage Expected vs Actual Result Expected: Provisioning profile should include com.apple.developer.storekit entitlement Actual: Profile is created WITHOUT the entitlement, despite all configurations being correct Configuration Details Developer Portal App ID com.driftnotes.app has In-App Purchase capability enabled ✅ All agreements are active in App Store Connect ✅ Xcode Project In-App Purchase capability added via Signing & Capabilities ✅ Automatically manage signing: Enabled ✅ Team: 43Y6AG5NPY (Vyacheslav Kuzin) ✅ Entitlements File (ios/Runner/Runner.entitlements) <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>com.apple.developer.in-app-payments</key> <array> <string>merchant.com.driftnotes.app</string> </array> <key>com.apple.developer.storekit</key> <true/> </dict> </plist> Build Settings CODE_SIGN_ENTITLEMENTS: Runner/Runner.entitlements ✅ PRODUCT_BUNDLE_IDENTIFIER: com.driftnotes.app ✅ DEVELOPMENT_TEAM: 43Y6AG5NPY ✅ Troubleshooting Attempted Multiple Attempts Profile Recreation: Manual and automatic profiles recreated dozens of times Cache Cleanup: Complete removal of: ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/* ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning\ Profiles/* Flutter clean & pod cache clean Signing Methods: Tested both manual and automatic signing management Wait Periods: 48+ hours for server propagation Complete Profile Deletion: Removed ALL profiles from Developer account per Apple Support Apple Support Workaround Following Senior Advisor recommendation: ✅ Deleted all provisioning profiles from account ✅ Confirmed IAP capability in project ✅ Created StoreKit Configuration File for testing ✅ Verified automatic signing management ✅ Multiple "Try Again" attempts in Xcode Result: Problem persists Apple Support Reference Case #102680105923 - Senior Advisor Simone confirmed after internal team consultation that this requires engineering team attention and directed to Developer Forums. Technical Analysis What Works Flutter build completes successfully Pod install executes without issues (25,9s) Xcode build finishes successfully (13,8s) All dependencies resolve correctly What Fails Provisioning profile generation: Server creates profile but omits StoreKit entitlement All profile types affected: Both manual and automatic profiles Consistent across configurations: Debug, Release, Profile all fail identically Root Cause This appears to be a server-side bug where Apple's provisioning systems are not properly correlating the App ID's In-App Purchase capability with the StoreKit entitlement generation for this specific App ID (com.driftnotes.app). The issue is NOT in client-side configuration - all settings match Apple's official documentation exactly. The problem occurs during the server-side provisioning profile generation process. Request for Engineering Team This issue requires attention from Apple's provisioning infrastructure team to resolve the server-side entitlement generation bug for App ID com.driftnotes.app. Impact Critical: Complete inability to build iOS app for physical devices Business: Blocking app deployment and updates Developer Experience: Extensive time spent on troubleshooting correctly configured setup All configurations have been verified multiple times and match Apple's official documentation. The issue has been escalated through Apple Support (Case #102680105923) and requires engineering team intervention.

How to properly handle StoreKitError or PurchaseError from product.purchase()
Hello! We are implementing consumable IAP for iOS using StoreKit 2 together with our own server backend. Our happy path looks like this: 1. Call /prepare on our server • We only allow one purchase at a time, so this fails if a pending transaction already exists. 2. Call /purchase via StoreKit 3. If successful, call /complete on our server 4. Call .finish() on the Transaction ⸻ The Problem Some users report being charged by Apple but not receiving coins. I suspect this happens in rare cases where the purchase flow throws an exception: • Every time we throw, we immediately cancel the transaction on our server. • However, some errors may actually be temporary. StoreKit seems to recover by later sending an update through Transactions.updates. • When that happens, since the transaction was already canceled on our server, we cannot match it. As a result, we just call .finish() without granting consumables. ⸻ Additional Observations From user logs, the issue tends to appear when the following errors are reported: • リクエストを完了できません。 • Triggered by: StoreKit.notEntitled • Triggered by: StoreKit.unknown • ヘルパーアプリケーションと通信できませんでした。 I was not able to reproduce the last one, even when testing all possible StoreKit configuration errors. Some sources suggest this may be a rare case where the app cannot communicate with the App Store itself. Additionally, affected users often seem to be using non-standard payment methods (PayPay, gift cards, carrier billing, etc.) rather than credit cards. ⸻ My Question What is the best practice for handling StoreKitError and PurchaseError? Specifically: • Should some of these errors be treated as temporary instead of final? • How should we ensure users always receive their consumables in such cases? ⸻ Code do { let result = try await wrapper.product.purchase() switch result { case .success(let result): let transaction = try StoreKitVerifier.checkVerified(result) let iOSPurchase = IOSPurchase(transaction: transaction, jws: result.jwsRepresentation) return .Success(purchase: iOSPurchase) case .userCancelled: return .Canceled() case .pending: return .Pending() @unknown default: return .Error( message: "Purchase result doesn't match with anything. This must not be executed") } } catch { return .Error(message: error.localizedDescription) }

IAP Can not Use Sand Box Test
I am currently using StoreKit2 to set up the in-app purchase subscription flow, and I have already configured the subscription products in App Connect. I created a StoreKit Configuration file in Xcode and used it in the scheme. However, after completing the purchase, the transaction.jsonRepresentation data returns a transactionId of 0. After checking the documentation, I found that I need to disable the StoreKit Configuration and enable Sandbox Testing. But after disabling the StoreKit Configuration, I can't retrieve the real product data using Product.products(for: productIds). I can confirm that the ProductId I provided is real and matches the data configured in App Connect. Could you please help me identify the issue?
