sandbox account isn't logging in on purchase window
I don't know if I am posting this in the right place. I am using xcode's phone simulator and I have setup my sandbox account on appstoreconnect under users and access/sandbox/test accounts then in my app on the simulator when I tap the subscribe button to purchase my product the a window pops up for in app purchases and I get a login prompt for my sandbox credentials, but no matter how many times I enter them after tapping ok all I get is a blank login prompt. also not this a brand new sandbox account and I've only changed the password 3 times, that seems to be important because its inconsistent with some of the errors I am getting on the error log here is error log. App Store Server Notifications Update
Hello Apple Support Team, We're a developer team that has created an app with subscription-based features, and we've been using App Store Server Notifications to receive updates about user subscription status changes. I'm reaching out to inquire about potential modifications to the App Store Server Notifications approach that might have improved notification delivery times for my app. So on our appstore app, when a user purchases a subscription, the apple server notifications reach our server and send us the complete detail of that user’s purchase for eg he upgraded or downgraded etc. And then based on the data we receive from app store server notifications, we save it in our database, along with updating the users subscription table in the database. Previously, we experienced delays in receiving the real time notifications from apple on our server, sometimes taking a few minutes, while other times they would arrive immediately. And because of this issue, the users faced delay in seeing their subscription updates, as our db was updated only after the app store server notification reached our server. However, recently, we've noticed a significant improvement, and notifications are now being delivered still in real-time, but without any noticeable delays. I'm wondering if Apple has made any changes to the App Store Server Notifications system that might have resolved the delay issue. Could you please confirm if any modifications were made in 2025, specifically from January onwards, that might have improved notification delivery times? Additionally, I'd like to know if these changes apply to both sandbox testing and production environments. If possible, could you please provide more information about the changes or direct me to a resource that might explain the updates? I'd appreciate your assistance in confirming this information, and I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.

Screen Rocorder plus Front Camera
I want to build an app for ios using react native. preferably expo. The app will be for recording user experiences with technology. the SLUDGE that they face while navigating through technology. I want to have basic login, signup. The main feature would be to have 2 recording modes. First is record the screen and the front camera simultaneously. Second is to record the back camera and the front camera simultaneously. I can then patch the two outputs later on that is the screen recording and the front camera clip in post processing. I want to know if this is possible as I was told that react native and expo does not have the support yet. if not is there any library or another approach to make this app come alive.

Reporting to External Purchase Server API when using alternative PSP in the EU
Dear community, Context My company operates in the European Union, where not so long ago there appeared the possibility to accept an ["Alternative Terms Addendum for Apps in the EU"] (https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/download/alternate_eu_terms_addendum.pdf), which, among others, gives us the possibility to use an alternative payment provider, other than Apple's In App Purchase PSP system (ref: Apple docs). My company did accept it and was granted the StoreKit External Purchase Entitlement (com.apple.developer.storekit.external-purchase) entitlement, with which we integrated a different PSP, so now we want to incorporate the reporting to Apple's External Purchase Server API. We are currently integrating with the External Purchase Server API and have encountered a couple of issues I would appreciate clarification on: Question 1 Is there a way to retrieve an overview or summary of the current subscription states on Apple’s servers as a result of the submitted reports to External Purchase Server API? Specifically, I would like to verify the expected outcomes before the monthly invoice is issued by Apple and to understand the subscription states for the test users I used during this process and for future reference as well. Question 2 In one scenario, I initiated a one-year subscription, and in the middle of its period, I submitted a RENEWAL for one month with a higher price. I expected the request to fail due to overlapping periods and/or pricing conflicts, but both submissions were accepted without error. Do you have an idea about: What happens at the end of the renewed month? Will the subscription continue with the renewed (higher) amount, revert to the original (lower) annual rate, or be canceled? Where can I view the final state and billing plan for that subscription? Thank you for your assistance, we are looking forward for any kind of help or information regarding this topic.

in-app purchases
I implemented consumable in-app purchases in an iPhone app using ProductView(). When I tap the payment button in ProductView(), I am taken to the payment screen and once the payment is completed the next code seems to be executed, so there doesn't seem to be a problem, but if I tap the payment button in ProductView() again, the next code is executed without taking me to the payment screen. This means that a single payment can be made multiple times. Can someone help? How to make StoreKit config & App Store Server notifications work together?
Hi, Using StoreKit 2 with App Store Server notifications like so: User selects a purchase App calls Product.purchase() If successful, App Store notifies our backend with the transaction details, importantly with a UUID for the transaction ID. This works fine, but when I try to test contingent pricing via the handy StoreKit config Transaction Manager in Xcode by creating a PurchaseIntent if I then complete the purchase in the app the Transaction ID is sequential, (0 for the first, 1 for the second etc), which doesn't work for us as the backend might already have that ID stored so the purchase never completes. If I disable the config file it works fine, but then I can't use the Transaction Manager debug tool. Is there a way to override the ID of a custom transaction that's created via the StoreKit configuration? Thanks

Device type: iPad Air (5th generation) OS version: iPadOS 26.0.1 Next Steps When validating receipts on your server, your server needs to be able to handle a production-signed app getting its receipts from Apple’s test environment. The recommended approach is for your production server to always validate receipts against the production App Store first. If validation fails with the error code "Sandbox receipt used in production," you should validate against the test environment instead. Question: Is it due to Device being used by reviewer or is it really from my code. As my code relies on Apple infrastructure for purchases and all things. Initially i did had subscription reporting api for receipt handling and all.When i went through with ChatGPT it did say that issue is due to half baked subscription module on my server. So i decided not to send any Subscription related things to backend, now it's Apple only and on App side. Is it correct fix ? Or do i need to fix backend even though i have no use for it ? My team did test in sandbox env via internal testing that time we had no issues. And all was tested using Mobile devices, that's why i still have question just to be sure these errors are due to devices or not? Screenshot shared by Apple team did show they got a error popup saying Something went wrong : Unable to complete request. I am trying to reproduce in development but can't. SKAdNetwork 3.0 postbacks are not being delivered.
Hi To test SkAdNetwork, I installed the profile from the documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/testing-ad-attributions-with-a-downloaded-profile) on my ios device. and turned off and on Allow Apps to Request to Track to change the idfa value. In this state, I installed the app (bundle id: id436731843) using SKAdNetwork with the following values at April 8th AM 01 (UTC) SkAdnetwork version: 3.0 fidelity fidelity=0, nonce=b3346a51-f7b5-42a2-a508-775a62317c83, timestamp=1744076349671, signature=... fidelity=1, nonce=b3346a51-f7b5-42a2-a508-775a62317c83, timestamp=1744076349672, signature=... itunesitem=436731843 network=87u5trcl3r.skadnetwork sourceapp=1220307907 I was hoping to get a postback after , but after a day, the postback is still not delivered. Any idea why the postback is not delivered? Thank you

Unresolved pending purchases for consumables
In our app we are running into a few issues with pending purchases staying on receipt indefinitely. These are consumable purchases where we received the purchase succeeded from apple but then something went wrong on our servers to validate and confirm the purchase. At this point the purchase stays on the apple receipt indefinitely or until we confirm it. The problem is there are lots of scenarios where we can't confirm purchases anymore (like a game world expired/banned player/etc). So there's a few things I'd like to know to see how this could be handle correctly. 1- Was the user already charged, and if yes would they ever be refunded if the purchase is not confirmed (some sort of expiry)? 2- Is there a way to cancel this sort of pending transaction directly from the app or backend? 3- If one of these users asked for a refund from apple would this clear the purchase from the receipt? Any information would be greatI couldn't find a lot of info on this topic.

Request Guidance on IAP Requirements for Dynamically Priced Digital Video Content
Dear Apple Developer Support Team, I hope you are doing well. We are reaching out to request clarification and guidance regarding the In-App Purchase (IAP) requirements for our upcoming iOS application. Our app offers paid access to digital video content. Each video has a dynamic price determined by our backend based on multiple factors (such as duration, category, and promotions). Additionally, users are allowed to select and purchase multiple videos at the same time, which results in a combined total price that varies per transaction. Challenges we face with IAP on iOS Dynamic pricing: Apple requires IAP products to have static pricing defined in App Store Connect. Our video prices change frequently and cannot be represented by fixed IAP product SKUs. Multiple-item purchases: iOS does not support a single purchase that includes multiple different IAP products. Processing many separate IAP transactions in sequence results in a poor user experience and is likely to cause failures. Product creation limitations: Since our catalog contains many videos with frequently changing prices, it is not feasible to create individual IAP products per video. Given these restrictions, we are unclear how to remain compliant while still providing a functional purchase flow for our users. Question In this scenario, where: video prices are dynamic, users may purchase multiple videos together, and IAP does not support multi-item purchases or dynamic pricing, are we allowed to use Stripe or another external payment provider to handle these purchases? If not, we would appreciate Apple’s guidance on what the recommended and compliant approach would be for apps that must price digital content dynamically and allow bulk purchasing. We want to ensure full compliance with App Store Review Guidelines and would like confirmation on the correct implementation strategy before proceeding. StoreKit appAccountToken Not Preserved During Apple ID Email Migration
I'm encountering an issue with the App Store Server API where the appAccountToken is not preserved when users migrate their Apple ID email addresses. I've submitted Feedback Assistant ticket FB18709241 but wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this and get community input on best practices. The Issue When a user migrates their Apple ID from one email to another (e.g., from olduser@example.com to newuser@icloud.com), the App Store creates a new subscription transaction with a different originalTransactionId, but the appAccountToken is not carried forward from the original transaction. What I'm Seeing note: these values are fake When querying /inApps/v1/subscriptions/{originalTransactionId} with the either post-migration transaction ID or the pre-migration transaction ID, the API returns both transactions: Pre-migration transaction (status: 2 - inactive): originalTransactionId: "12345678910111" Contains: "appAccountToken": "abc123-def456-ghi789" Post-migration transaction (status: 1 - active): originalTransactionId: "67891011121314" Missing: appAccountToken entirely The Problem The appAccountToken is our only way to link App Store subscriptions to user accounts. Without it on the new transaction: Users lose access to premium features despite having valid subscriptions Server-side renewal notifications can't be matched to user accounts Manual support intervention is required for each affected user Questions for the Community Has anyone else encountered this issue with Apple ID migrations? What's the recommended approach for handling this scenario? Is there an alternative mechanism to maintain the subscription-to-user linkage across migrations? Questions for Apple Engineers Is this the expected behavior, or should the appAccountToken be preserved? Are there any planned improvements to handle this migration scenario? What's the best practice for developers to handle this case? Interestingly, both the old and new transaction IDs return the same JSON response from the App Store Server API, suggesting Apple maintains internal linkage between these transactions, but the appAccountToken isn't carried forward to the active transaction. 'Invalid value for purchase intake' error
Hello, I recently saw this error from StoreKit in the Console - 'Invalid value for purchase intake' - while debugging a SKPayment subscription issue (where a valid receipt should be verified and restored, but isn't for one user). I haven't been able to find any documentation about this message and wondered if it was related at all. There were two other logs from StoreKit right before saying: 'Found 3 products in receipt with ID' 'Processing ad attribution purchase intake' Does anyone know what 'invalid value for purchase intake' is referencing? We don't have the AdAttributionKit implemented. It sounds like it might be related to that instead? Thank you

repeat subscription
After the user initiates the subscription payment, the SDK returns an error type: user cancels. When the user initiates the payment again, Apple will deduct the payment twice and successfully deduct the previously cancelled SKU. This is a recent occurrence with a large amount of data, and the app has not been upgraded in any way. We need to seek help. Thank you

Regarding the pattern of multiple original transaction IDs being linked
In the app we're distributing, we've identified a user where the Get All Subscription Statuses API returns two original transaction IDs in the data response. This user has gone through cancellations and re-subscriptions since their initial purchase. As for this app, it: Uses subscriptions through in-app purchases. Does not offer upgrades, downgrades, or crossgrades, having only one product. Has never undergone price increases or decreases. Is distributed exclusively in Japan.
