eSIM /EID missing
I have an iPhone 14 Pro. After updating to iOS 26 beta, the eSIM functionality disappeared from my device. The “Add eSIM” option is completely missing from Settings > Cellular. I also checked Settings > General > About. The EID is no longer displayed. However, the IMEI, IMEI2, SEID, and Modem Firmware are still present. Modem Firmware currently shows 6.00.01, and Carrier Lock shows “No SIM restrictions.” I have already erased and restored/flashed the iPhone, but the EID and “Add eSIM” option are still missing after the restore. This problem prevents me from setting up or using an eSIM. Please investigate whether the iOS 26 beta caused the EID/eSIM functionality to disappear. Device: iPhone 14 Pro iOS: iOS 26 beta

Starting Out
Hi, This may be the wrong forum for this. I'm just starting out and playing with Claude coding. I've installed Xcode and and have some code that runs in a simulator. now I'm trying to transfer it to my phone to test but Xcode doesn't recognise my device and I can't seem to manually add a device through my profile as I don't have access to Certificates, Identifiers, etc. I've not fully enrolled in the program as I'm not sure the $150 AUD is what I need right now. Have I done something wrong?

Looking for beta testers for Aimora — an intelligent personal assistant for iPhone
Hi everyone! I'm looking for beta testers for Aimora, an intelligent personal assistant for iPhone designed to help you move forward when you're not sure what to do next. Aimora helps turn a goal or situation into one clear, practical next step, while learning from your progress over time. I'm especially interested in honest feedback about the UX, usefulness, and whether the concept actually helps in real life. The app is currently in beta and available through TestFlight. If you'd like to try it, I'd really appreciate your feedback! Thank you! https://testflight.apple.com/join/GdB6N39k

Create Alarm for Apple Watch Only
I'm a pretty new developer with only 1 app on the app store. I'm working on a new app for my mom, but I've hit a road block and can't see a way forward. I'd love help if anyone has any ideas. My mom leaves her phone lying around all the time. But she also uses alarms as reminders ALL the time. This leads to situations where she is outside or on the other side of the house when alarms go off on her phone. She is too far for her watch to get the alarm from the phone, so her phone just goes off and she isn't aware. The simplest option is for her to use the alarm app on her watch, but she isn't super techy and doesn't do well with the small screen. I noticed that AlarmKit was released in iOS 26. This is exactly what I need, except that it is only on iOS, not Apple Watch. My intent was to create a pair iOS and WatchOS app where someone could create an alarm on the phone, it immediately syncs to the watch, and when the time comes, it only alarms the watch, not the phone. And it needs to work even if it isn't connected to the phone when the alarm goes off. I got close. I have pair apps, and creating, edit, or deleting alarms on the phone immediately updates on the watch. And the watch has a standard notification (short ping and vibration) that repeats every 5 seconds. But this isn't aggressive enough for my mom to notice. I've tried a lot of weird paths to try and get this to work, but I'm at a dead end. If anyone has any ideas for me, please let me know!

iPhone Mirroring: noCompatiblePhone in one macOS user account, works in another on the same Mac
ENVIRONMENT Mac mini (M4), macOS 26.7 beta (25G227). iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 27 beta (24A5430a). Same Apple Account on both, two-factor enabled. Important: the failure began on 1 September on shipping builds, macOS 26.6.2 with iOS 26.6.1, after working fine for 27 logged sessions. Both devices were moved to betas afterwards while troubleshooting, and the behaviour has never changed on any build. SUMMARY iPhone Mirroring fails in my main macOS user account with "Cannot Connect to iPhone". A second macOS user account on the SAME Mac, signed in to the SAME Apple Account, connects to the SAME iPhone successfully. The fault is scoped to one macOS user account. FAILING ACCOUNT ScreenContinuityApp check sequence passes 1.1 through 4, then: 5. Checking if Replicator has a device paired Tearing down the session due to: noCompatiblePhone replicatord: Fetched IDS device: ; isCloudPaired: false Cannot handshake with discovered device, sync service does not know about it yet Unable to send message to device; no longer associated with account Error sending handshake request ... unknownDestination Reconciling devices. WORKING ACCOUNT, same phone, minutes apart isCloudPaired: true Handshake completed: rapportd resolves DF 0xA9 "Ignoring BLE device" count 0, session runs over AWDL Every attempt in the failing account creates a NEW pairing relationship stuck at state: introduced, isPaired: false, then abandons it. Three distinct relationshipIDs were observed, each with an initialPairingDate matching the minute of the attempt, so they are regenerated symptoms rather than stale records. RULED OUT Apple Account sign out and back in on the Mac (twice) and on the iPhone (the phone received an entirely new Octagon identity, which the Mac accepted as a trusted peer) A full revoke-and-setup cycle: revoked from the working account so the pairing slot was completely empty, then ran setup from the failing account with the phone unlocked and in hand. Still noCompatiblePhone, and no on-device approval prompt ever appeared. Reset of per-user IDS state, deletion of Continuity keychain items and of the sharingd / rapport / ScreenContinuity preferences, ckksctl resync of DevicePairing and AutoUnlock, restart of identityservicesd, imagent, sharingd, rapportd and replicatord Reset Network Settings on the iPhone, a new macOS Network Location, a different Wi-Fi network, Bluetooth off and on, toggling iPhone Widgets, Lockdown Mode off, Screen Time restrictions off, Sidecar disconnected macOS 26.6.2 to 26.7 and iOS 26.6.1 to iOS 27 beta VERIFIED HEALTHY IN THE FAILING ACCOUNT otctl status reports Ready with the iPhone as a trusted peer. ckksctl reports every view ready, including DevicePairing and AutoUnlock. IDS is registered with no "Not registered" entries. awdl0 is active. No configuration profile restrictions. System Settings shows the correct iPhone selected for iPhone Mirroring. TWO OBSERVATIONS THAT MAY BE USEFUL The iPhone stores this pairing per Mac, not per macOS user account. Settings > General > AirPlay & Continuity > iPhone Mirroring showed exactly one entry, the Mac's name, marked Currently Connected while the working account was mirroring. The "Revoke Access to [iPhone]" button is not permanently disabled. It is only disabled while a mirroring session is active. The same applies to Edit > delete on the phone. QUESTIONS Is the IDS account-associated-devices list maintained per macOS user account, and what determines whether a device is admitted to it? Is there a supported way to force that per-user list to resynchronise, short of deleting and recreating the user account? Is replicatord remaining at Known: [] while regenerating introduced / isPaired: false relationships a known issue? I have not filed via Feedback Assistant yet. Happy to file one with a sysdiagnose from both accounts if that is the right route.

UNEXPLAINABLE 3 MONTHS TAKING TECHNICAL ISSUE DEV ACCOUNT
Dear Apple Developer Support / Apple Developer Program Team, I am writing to formally escalate an unresolved issue with my Apple Developer Program application. I initially applied for the Apple Developer Program at the beginning of June 2026. My application was subsequently accepted, and I received communication indicating that I should be able to proceed with the remaining steps to activate my Developer Program membership. However, the process has been technically blocked from the beginning. When I follow the link provided by Apple, I am unable to proceed with signing the agreement and completing the required payment. Instead, I remain stuck on the same screen: “Thank you for your submission. We’ll get back to you soon.” I have contacted Apple Support and Developer Support repeatedly about this issue. On several occasions, I have spent approximately 1–1.5 hours waiting to reach a representative. Unfortunately, most of the representatives I have spoken with have been unable to identify or resolve the underlying issue. I have repeatedly been advised to be patient and have been told that the matter appears to be related to an internal Operations department. I fully appreciate that technical issues can occur and that some cases require investigation by another department. However, this matter has now remained unresolved for approximately three months. At one point, after waiting for a significant period without a resolution, I requested that my application be withdrawn so that I could submit a new application and potentially avoid the technical issue. Even getting this request understood and processed took approximately 1.5–2 weeks. I subsequently submitted a new application and, again, the application was accepted. Unfortunately, I am now experiencing essentially the same technical problem and remain unable to complete the enrollment process. This has become extremely concerning because we are not dealing with a normal application delay. We appear to be dealing with a technical or operational issue that prevents an accepted applicant from completing the final enrollment steps, while standard support channels have been unable to resolve or meaningfully explain the situation. I have retained documentation of the entire process, including application confirmations, acceptance communications, screenshots, correspondence and support interactions, and I am able to provide these upon request. Our company is a legitimate new business and our development activities and applications are directly connected to our company website, business email infrastructure and development plans. We have also involved experienced developers who have previously worked with Apple Developer accounts at established international companies, and this situation is highly unusual compared with their previous experience. I want to emphasize that I have been patient and cooperative throughout this process. I have provided the requested information, contacted the appropriate support channels multiple times, followed the instructions given to me, and even restarted the application process when advised. During the phone calls I selected that everything can be recorded so apple should have those conversations. However, after approximately three months, I believe it is reasonable to request that this matter receive attention at a level capable of actually resolving it. I am not looking for preferential treatment. I am simply asking Apple to investigate why an application that has already been accepted cannot proceed through the enrollment process, and to provide a clear explanation and resolution. Please treat this as a formal complaint and escalation request and provide me with a reference/case number for this complaint. I am prepared to provide all supporting documentation immediately. I sincerely hope this matter can now be escalated to someone who has the authority and technical access necessary to investigate and resolve it ASAP. Kind regards,

Apple Developer Program Enrollment Still Pending After 12 Days — No Update or Charge
Hello Apple Developer Community, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program about 12 days ago, but my enrollment is still not completed. I contacted Apple Developer Support about the issue, and they created a support case for me. However, I have not received any further update regarding why my account has not been created or what is causing the delay. I also noticed that the $99 Apple Developer Program enrollment fee has not been charged yet. Could someone please explain what might be happening with my enrollment? Is it normal for enrollment to take this long, or is there something I need to do from my side? I would really appreciate any advice or information about the next steps. Thank you.

Apple Developer Program Subscription Issue
Hello everyone, I’m reaching out for assistance regarding an issue with my Apple Developer Program subscription. I made the $99 USD payment for my subscription on January 10, 2025, but my account is still not active, and I am unable to publish my app. According to the process, activation should take up to 48 hours, but it has now been much longer without any updates. Additionally, when I log into the Apple Developer website, I still see the "PURCHASE" button as if the payment was not processed. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? If so, how was it resolved? Any guidance on what steps I should take next would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

iPhone 17 - persistent bluetooth connection issues.
Bluetooth on my iPhone 17 repeatedly disconnects and automatically reconnects during a single session. Started suddenly about one week ago after ~3 months of normal, issue-free use. Occurs specifically at the gym; not reproduced at home. Disconnect frequency worsens progressively within a session, begins around every 10 minutes, degrades to roughly every 3 minutes as the session continues. No overheating observed. Issue predates iOS 26.6.1 and persists after updating to it. Troubleshooting completed with no effect: tested multiple headphone models/brands (including new units), reset network settings, confirmed fully updated to iOS 26.6.1, tested with Wi-Fi fully disabled using cellular data only, ruled out device overheating. Device: iPhone 17, purchased from Apple Store ~3 months ago.

Unable to continue after Apple Developer Support reset my enrollment.
Hi everyone, I’m trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program using the Apple Developer app on my MacBook. Originally, my enrollment became stuck before the payment step. Apple Developer Support withdrew my previous enrollment and confirmed that I could enroll again through the Developer app. The app now correctly shows “Enroll Now”, but when I click it, it immediately displays: “Unable to Continue. Contact support.” The error appears immediately, and the enrollment flow never starts—I don’t reach the terms, identity verification, or payment screens. I’ve already: Updated to the latest macOS. Installed the latest Apple Developer app. Verified that iCloud is enabled. Confirmed I’m using the same Apple ID everywhere (I only have one Apple ID). Restarted my Mac and signed out/in again. Tried different internet connections. Apple Developer Support has already reset my enrollment once, but the issue still persists. I’ve also replied to my support case with screenshots showing the problem. Has anyone experienced this after an enrollment reset? If so, what resolved it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Photos Markup facility
iPhone 15 using iOS27.0. Why does the marker tool only result in 'wash' effect with any colour other than black or white? Even 'pure' primary colours (rated at 255 for that colour, with the other at 0) display the ‘wash’ effect. Any colour other than black or white shows what is being coloured over underneath that colour. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Seeking Collaborators for Echoes of the Broken Sun, a macOS-First Science-Fantasy RTS
Hello everyone, I’m developing Echoes of the Broken Sun, an original science-fantasy real-time strategy game being built for macOS and Apple Silicon in Unreal Engine. The project began as a personal experiment: I wanted to see how far I could take a complete game by providing the design, architecture, requirements, creative direction, and acceptance criteria while using AI extensively for implementation. I am not treating generated code as automatically correct. Every feature still has to be reviewed, tested, integrated, and proven against the intended design. The project has now progressed beyond an initial concept and into a functioning prototype, and I would like to connect with developers, designers, artists, testers, and other contributors who may be interested in helping shape it. Echoes of the Broken Sun is not intended to be a traditional high-actions-per-minute RTS where success primarily depends on keyboard speed. The goal is to reward strategic judgment, battlefield awareness, logistics, positioning, intelligence, resource denial, and decisions that can affect the remainder of a match or campaign. The central strategic mechanic is the Future Well, a contested resource that forces players to choose between immediate power and long-term possibility. A player can harvest it for resources, preserve it for future advantages, or reshape it to temporarily alter the battlefield. Those decisions are intended to create meaningful tradeoffs rather than a single optimal build order. The game currently includes three asymmetric factions: Meridian, which emphasizes control, organization, and technological precision Kharuun, which relies on mobility, pressure, and aggressive adaptation Hollow Choir, which uses disruption, sacrifice, and unconventional battlefield effects The current prototype includes a deterministic C++ simulation, an RTS camera and selection system, construction and production, logistics limits, AI opponents, local skirmish support, campaign progression, save and restore functionality, victory conditions, faction-specific units and structures, and early multiplayer networking work. There is still substantial work ahead. The user interface, accessibility, balance, visual presentation, audio, performance optimization, multiplayer security, Apple signing and notarization, clean-machine testing, and overall player experience all need further development. I would especially like to hear from people with experience or interest in: Unreal Engine and C++ gameplay development macOS, Apple Silicon, Metal, Xcode, signing, and notarization Multiplayer architecture, networking, testing, and security RTS design, faction balance, AI, and campaign development UI, accessibility, 3D art, animation, visual effects, sound, or music Playtesting, technical review, documentation, or build validation This is not a finished commercial release or a formal job posting. It is a serious passion project with a public repository, documented architecture, test evidence, known limitations, and an active development roadmap. Contributions do not have to be large. Code review, testing, design feedback, performance analysis, or help with a specific Apple-platform issue would all be valuable. Project page: https://redxking.github.io/echoes-of-the-broken-sun/ GitHub repository: https://github.com/redxking/echoes-of-the-broken-sun Anyone interested in the concept is welcome to reply here or reach out through GitHub. Please mention the area you are interested in and whether you would like to contribute, test, review, or simply follow the project. Thank you for taking a look. Angelis Pseftis

Nurture TestFlight - help test two-caregiver sync and baby-care logging on iOS 17+
I’m building Nurture, a native iPhone baby-care tracker designed for households where more than one trusted caregiver needs the same up-to-date record. The beta supports shared family profiles, live Firebase synchronization, sleep and feeding logs, diaper tracking, medication and vaccination schedules, history, and daily summaries. It is free, has no ads or purchases, and is not a medical-advice app. The specific test mission takes about 10–15 minutes: Create a shared family on one iPhone. Invite a second caregiver if possible. Log one feed, diaper change, and sleep activity. Tell me where setup or synchronization felt confusing, slow, or unreliable. Requires iOS 17 or later. Feedback can be submitted through TestFlight. Founding testers who submit substantive feedback before the public App Store launch receive free lifetime access to any future Nurture subscription. Nurture is currently free and has no subscription; eligibility details are on the campaign page. Persistent "Slow Charger" alert on iPhone 13 with official adapters & iOS 26.6
I’m reporting a persistent "Slow Charger" alert on my iPhone 13 running the latest stable iOS 26.6 build. Even when using the original Apple 30W adapter and official USB-C to Lightning cable, the phone still shows this message. My device isn’t hot, and I’ve already tried rebooting and plugging/unplugging the charger, but the issue remains. Since my hardware is confirmed working, this appears to be a bug in the power delivery negotiation logic (PD handshake failure) for Lightning devices in recent iOS versions. I hope this gets fixed in the next update

macOS 27 beta: every OS update fails — MobileSoftwareUpdate 1259 "failed to copy firmware identity" (orphaned iSCPreboot volume-group dir) — FB24342236
Every macOS update fails during preflight personalization on my MacBook Pro (Mac15,6, Apple Silicon), currently on 27.0 build 26A5378j. It's failed on every build from beta 5 (26A5406e) through beta 7. Identical failure via Software Update and via startosinstall. It fails LOCALLY, before contacting Apple (gs.apple.com and gdmf.apple.com are both reachable with valid certs). Error (install.log + unified log): reaches PREFLIGHT_PERSONALIZE (~0.15), then aborts MobileSoftwareUpdateErrorDomain Code=1259 "failed to copy firmware identity" "could not obtain device identity information through SFR installer" SUMacControllerErrorPreflightPersonalizeFailed=7723 Root cause I've traced: an orphaned volume-group boot-policy directory in /System/Volumes/iSCPreboot/. ls shows two volume-group UUID dirs — the live one (matches diskutil info /) and an orphan (3D3287DE-...) with no corresponding APFS volume group (diskutil apfs list shows only one live group). Both date to Feb 2024. The preflight can't reconcile the System Recovery boot policy in the orphaned dir. Note: NOT caused by Erase All Content and Settings (unlike the commonly reported case). The orphan predates the beta, so any pre-existing second volume-group boot-policy directory reproduces it. It was harmless for ~2 years; macOS 27's stricter preflight rejects it. Ruled out (no effect): disk space, VPN, DNS, clock, Apple Account, refreshing the beta seed entitlement, reboot, Time Machine, re-downloading the installer, and Recovery reinstall (same 1259). Filed as FB24342236 — no response across beta 5, 6, 7. Questions: Is this a known issue with a planned fix, and in which build? Any supported recovery path that does NOT require a second Mac? (Recovery reinstall fails the same way.) Or is DFU Revive/Restore the only option? Will the public 27.0 release install on this machine, or hit the same preflight?

Apple Developer Enrollment Blocked Since Aug 5 – 1,029 TRY Charged and Invoiced, but No Membership
Hello, I am experiencing a serious issue with my Apple Developer Program enrollment, and after multiple contacts with Apple Developer Support, I still have no resolution. My enrollment process has been ongoing since August 5, 2026. Here is a summary of what has happened: August 5: I started the Apple Developer Program enrollment process. I initially could not enroll through the Apple Developer app because the Enroll Now button was disabled and I was directed to enroll through the website. During the web enrollment process, Apple requested additional identity verification. I submitted the requested identity documents and information. After the review, I was eventually allowed to continue with the enrollment and reached the payment stage. August 13: I paid 1,029 TRY for the Apple Developer Program through Apple's website. The amount was successfully charged. However, my Developer Program membership was never activated. I was subsequently directed to try enrollment through the Apple Developer app. On my iPhone, the identity verification process failed and the app displayed “ID Verification Rejected.” I also tried on a Mac. After entering my identity and address information, I received: “Contact us to continue. There may be an issue with your account that needs to be resolved before you can continue. Please contact support.” August 15: Apple issued and emailed me an official invoice confirming the 1,029 TRY Apple Developer Program payment. Despite the successful payment and invoice, I still have no active membership. Today, the situation changed again. A few hours ago, the Developer app was still displaying “ID Verification Rejected.” I then went to the Apple Developer website, where an Enroll button appeared. I selected it and chose to continue enrollment through the website. The website immediately displayed: “Your enrollment could not be completed. Your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program could not be completed at this time.” After this happened, I checked the Apple Developer app again. Interestingly, “ID Verification Rejected” had disappeared, but the Enroll Now button became disabled again. The app now says that enrollment through the Apple Developer app is not available for this Apple Account and directs me back to the website. So I am currently stuck in a loop: Developer app → tells me to use the website Website → says my enrollment cannot be completed At the same time, Apple has already charged me 1,029 TRY and issued an official invoice, but I still do not have the Apple Developer Program membership that I paid for. I have already contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and have an existing support case. I have followed every instruction provided to me, submitted the requested identity information, tried enrollment on the web, iPhone, and Mac, and completed the payment. This has been ongoing since August 5, and it is now preventing me from continuing with my app development and distribution plans. Has anyone experienced a similar situation where Apple successfully charged and invoiced the Developer Program membership, but the enrollment remained blocked? If an Apple Developer Support representative sees this post, I would greatly appreciate it if my enrollment could be reviewed or escalated to the appropriate enrollment/review team. Case ID: 20000129008605 I can provide Apple Developer Support with the payment confirmation, official invoice, screenshots of both errors, and any additional identity documentation required. For privacy reasons, I have not included my Apple Account email address, invoice number, or personal identification information in this public post. Thank you.

eSIM /EID missing

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Mv4Wp7RB Details and founding-tester terms: https://nurture-baby-kay-2026.web.app/beta

Thank you.
