Hello,
I created a particular ray tracing based photo/video capture app for iPhone (which causes me several headaches in finding the optimal configuration) that which often offers very soft and visually beautiful shots but is trapped in the usual oblivion of apps from unknown developers.
While it is true that on the one hand the fact that almost no one downloads your app even if it is free can save you from several gaffes in the early days, in the long run it becomes depressing. So I thought of creating something that could be an incentive to try the app. Not having money to invest in prizes for contests or much more pragmatically in advertising, I thought of adding a function where you can see the best photos taken in your area and vote for them and, if you want, add a photo taken in the competition.
Do you think it could be a nice idea?
It's true that the problem itself is to overcome the wall of 0 downloads, where your app is neither successful nor unsuccessful because in fact nobody tries it, but without money for advertising I don't have many other ideas...
Thanks

Hello,
I’m reaching out here because I have exhausted all other support channels without success. I submitted an enrollment request for the Apple Developer Program on March 3, 2025 (Enrollment ID: 3CJFXN3AA3), and it’s now been over 2.5 months with no resolution.
All required documents have been submitted, confirmed received by Apple Support, and multiple follow-ups have been made (Case #102541675488). Each time, I’m told that the case is still under review, but I haven’t received any clear update or timeline.
Is there anything else I can do to move this process forward? Is there a better way to escalate or contact someone who can help finalize the review?
Any advice or help from the community or Apple team would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Daniyar

Another developer tried to start a screen-sharing session with me on my M1 MacBook Air this morning (Sequoia 15.3). He reported however that another session was already under way on my machine. I looked in System Settings and found that the "Screen Sharing" setting was grayed out, with the notation that "This service is currently being controlled by the Remote Management service". Access to the service is disabled however, and I have no way of turning it off.
It's possible that the person who tried to help me got this session started, and that it then got aborted in some irregular way, but he see no indication of that and says there is no connection between us as seen from his end. This makes me nervous security-wise. Is there some way I can turn this off and ensure that I am not being screen-shared against my will, as it were?
TIA,
Howard

i am running iOS 18.5 beta 3 (iPhone 16 pro max) and my phone will not connect wirelessly to any of my vehicles. When connected via the apple certified usb-c cord, it will connect just fine. I have removed all vehicles from my phone, then removed my phone from both vehicle, reconnected, and it still will not connect wirelessly.

As of today we seem to continuously get back 21 of the product IDs we have defined when the shop initializes.
This is causing what looks like intermittent bug behavior in our shop. The IDs sent each time are random (not always the same 21). So sometimes they match shop offers and the packs look right and can be bought and sometimes the ones our current shop offers need are not sent and so the offers in game look wrong and error when you try to buy.
Is anyone else seeing this new behavior of not getting down all their product IDs successfully?
A question from an ordinary user for developers:
The essence of the problem:
I installed the To Do List by MinimaList app on both my MacBook and iPhone. After installing it, I decided not to use it and deleted the application.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/minimalist-to-do-list-widget/id993066159
However, it turned out that not everything was removed. Specifically:
• In the “Allow Others to Find Me” section on both my MacBook and iPhone, these apps still appear. No matter what I do—whether I delete or clear them—they continue to be displayed there.
• This app continues to appear in the section located at:
Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Stored in iCloud → See All → Allow Finding Me – To Do List and one more item.
• It cannot be deleted.
• It won’t delete on my MacBook, and it won’t delete on my iPhone.
• It also appeared in iCloud itself under the Email Search section.
P.S.
The official Apple support (without violating any internal regulations) advised me to post on the forum to get in touch with Apple developers.
In hope, I am posting this question here.
I'm running IOS 18.5 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. If I delete an email on my iPhone, it is still in the inbox on my iMac. If I delete an email on my iMac it is deleted from the inbox on my iPhone. Is this because of the Beta software on my phone?

I'm running into issues with iOS respecting the HTTP 410 "Gone" response type.
Setup:
Using the native iOS Calendar app, add a new subscription calendar. "Add Subscription Calendar"
Add the URL of a ICS calendar subscription that you control, e.g. https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics
Make sure to select the "Account" option and choose "On My iPhone/iPad". Set the query amount to 15 mins.
Calendar events show as expected, device queries the latest updates from the server every 15 minutes. Server returns HTTP 200 with the .ics contents.
Now, assume there is a need for the feed to end - maybe the user unsubscribed to mywebsite.com. There is currently no way for the mywebsite.com server / response to tell the device the feed has ended and it should stop requesting. If the user forgets to go to calendar and manually unsubscribe the device will continually ping the server every 15 minutes indefinitely. It's turning into a virtual DoS for my platform.
iOS should respect the HTTP 410 "Gone" header or something similar. If the server returns a HTTP 410 response code for https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics X amount of times, the feed should be automatically removed.
I've opened several tickets over the last 3 years and have not even had a status change on the tickets.
Does anyone know how to resolve this or a work around?
Hi,
Having a weird issue that I’m noticing on Apple TVs with some apps that are by the same company. I think it’s storing residual user data if if you delete the app and all other apps relating to this. I have even tried deleting every app and reinstalling but we found two apps to be still logged in. Seams like a sandboxing bug and I presume it’s to do with App data stored in the shared app groups.
I can only reset the apple tv to remove the user data. The two apps we can see are being persistent is Binge and Kayo by streamotion.
We have tried problem solving this in every way imaginable but it’s Interesting that this is allowed to happen on an Apple platform. There is no active user logged into the apple TV with an Apple ID either
Hello,
I use Navigationstack in the first and second views. In this case, the second view is executed immediately and then disappears.
Is there a solution?
The code is as follows.
device = i-phone
struct ContentView: View {
@State var path: [String] = []
var body: some View {
NavigationStack(path: $path) {
VStack {
Text("Screen1")
Spacer()
Button(action: {
path.append("2nd")
}, label: {
Text("go to 2nd Screen")
})
}
.navigationDestination(for: String.self) { s in
if s == "2nd" {
let _ = print("1st screen nav path(1) = \(path)")
SecondScreen(path: $path)
let _ = print("1st screen nav path(2) = \(path)")
}
}
.onAppear {
print("1st screen on appear")
print("1st screen path = \(path)")
}
.onDisappear {
print("1st screen on disappear")
print("1st screen disa. path = \(path)")
}
.padding()
}
}
}
struct SecondScreen: View {
@State var path2: [String] = []
@Binding var path: [String]
var body: some View {
NavigationStack(path: $path2) {
VStack {
Text("2nd Screen is loaded")
Spacer()
Button(action: {
path2.append("3rd")
}
, label: {
Text("go to 3rd Screen")
})
Button(action: {
path2.removeLast()
}
, label: {
Text("back to 1st Screen")
})
}
.navigationDestination(for: String.self) { s in
if s == "3rd" {
// Text("3rd")
thirdScreen()
} else {
thirdScreen()
}
}
}
.onAppear {
print("2nd screen on appear")
print("2nd screen path = \(path)")
print("2nd screen path2 = \(path2)")
}
.onDisappear {
print("2nd screen on disappear")
print("2nd screen path = \(path)")
print("2nd screen disa. path2 = \(path2)")
}
}
}
struct thirdScreen: View {
var body: some View {
VStack {
Text("3rd Screen")
}
.onAppear {
print("3rd screen on appear")
}
.onDisappear {
print("3rd screen on disappear")
}
}
}

Hi everyone,
I’m a developer from Argentina, and I recently attempted to publish my app on Google Play under a US LLC. I submitted all the required documentation and followed the process step-by-step. After 40 days of back-and-forth communication and providing all the requested information, my application was ultimately rejected without a clear explanation.
I understand that having a US company and bank account is a requirement for developers like me to operate internationally, but this rejection has left me quite confused about what went wrong.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation? If so, how did you resolve it? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I am having trouble passing custom data in an array with a navigation stack. I want to display a subview with the same data structure (title, headline, picture placement etc), with different data attached for each of my list view items
We are a technical team of a large enterprise whose main business depends on internally developed iOS applications. Our Apple enterprise developer account expires on February 16th, and we filled in the renewal application form before that, but it was rejected by Apple. We contacted the Apple consultant through Apple's official website, and they said that the enterprise department is a separate department, and they could not solve my problem. Later, after efforts, I directly contacted the email address of the enterprise department, and I explained our situation. After their review, the final plan still could not renew, but only extended the use of our P12 certificate, and the maximum extension was one year in the end, so that we can deal with the application that is being distributed by the enterprise as soon as possible. May I ask if there is any better way to successfully renew my account? We only extended the certificate, which is not what we want, but this is the only way at present. If there is a good way to communicate, please check my personal information and have my email address for communication. Thank you all

説明ではApple Accountが無くても回答可能とあるが、招待された画面を開きメールアドレスを入力するとApple acountのパスワードを入れるか、新規にacountを作成する画面になる。
Apple Accountが無い人は何も出来ないのか?それともあのパスワード欄は新規にパスワード登録するためのもの?
また、招待を送ったメールアドレスとApple acountのメールアドレスが違う場合はどうなるのだろう?
誰か試した人いますか?

It works if Bluetooth is on for a long time, is there any problem?
I'm developing an app using beacon and Bluetooth, and I have to operate the app in the background, and after spending the weekend, I have to detect the beacon and revive the app. I can see that there is an app in the background, but the app is not coming back to life.
How can I solve this problem?
Or is the OS team working on something to block it?
The test model is Iphone16Plus.

I'm building a Live Activity using ActivityKit in iOS, and I'm trying to understand how apps like Uber or Lyft manage to keep the Dynamic Island always in its expanded state, without transitioning through the compact phase.
In my implementation, the Live Activity always starts in the compact state, and only expands temporarily when I interact with it. I've tried the following:
Updating the ContentState frequently using activity.update(using:)
I tried updating the activity every 1 second, but it didn’t make a difference.
Leaving the compactLeading, compactTrailing, and minimal regions empty using EmptyView() — also didn’t change the behavior.
Delaying the initial update by 1 second — no effect.
What I'm trying to figure out:
Is there any way to programmatically force or request the Dynamic Island to stay in the expanded state?
Could this behavior be achieved through push updates, using apns-push-type: liveactivity and a high priority (apns-priority)?
What I’m trying to achieve is similar to the behavior shown in the images below — the apps do not transition to the compact island, but instead displays the expanded view immediately.
Example:
Hi,
EtreCheck
I could really use some help with this, as I haven’t been able to find much concrete info.
I mistakenly updated my MacBook to the 15.5 beta, and while I can’t say with 100% certainty that the issues started immediately after, I’ve been experiencing consistent kernel panics every time the machine wakes from sleep — it restarts completely and throws an error.
I’m really hoping this isn’t a hardware issue. The MacBook is just over two years old, and I rely on it daily for work — replacing it right now isn’t an option.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a Time Machine backup to roll back to. I’ve already wiped the machine and reinstalled macOS via recovery mode, and Apple Diagnostics isn’t showing any hardware problems.
Just to rule it out: I’m not using any external devices — no docks, Thunderbolt accessories, or anything else plugged in.
I came across EtreCheck as a recommended tool, and I’ve included the results below. If anyone is able to help interpret them or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve since unenrolled from the beta and turned off automatic updates — I’m just hoping this is a beta-related bug that resolves with the next stable release.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
