Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm encountering a persistent issue while attempting to create a new partition on my Mac, and I'm hoping to get some assistance or insights from anyone who might have faced a similar problem. Issue Description: I'm trying to partition my internal drive. I initially used Disk Utility.app for this purpose. The partitioning process starts, but consistently freezes when it reaches approximately 10-20% completion. I've left it running overnight (for over 9 hours), but there was no progress, and the application remained unresponsive at that percentage. After several attempts with Disk Utility, I decided to try using the diskutil commands in Terminal to see if that would yield a different result. I used commands such as diskutil apfs resizeContainer and diskutil partitionDisk. Unfortunately, these commands also result in the same behavior: the process starts, reports progress up to about 10-20%, and then completely freezes without any further output or completion, requiring me to force-quit Terminal. Hi All, I searched for this feedback but didn't see it, so apologies if this has been covered by another thread. Exploring the new camera app, It doesn't seem to recognize that external storage has been connected, so the additional features that allow ProRes high frame rates will throw an error dialog stating that "to use this you need external storage" even when external storage is connected. Using the Files app, the phone recognizes the storage, and this is something I can do with this external storage device on the previous version of IOS. It is clear that this release of the camera has been rewritten significantly since the last version. Is it possible that this is an oversight, a bug, or just functionality that has not been completed? Interested if anybody else is seeing this, or if it is just my setup.

my app was kicked off the App Store because it needed updating. i have now done that and it is ready for TestFlight. before I uploaded it, I had look around the App Store to see if there were any similar apps and I found one which just looks like it’s pinched the ideas about how it works-it’s uniqueness claiming to be the first of its kind and who it is aimed at Its not exactly the sameseems silly similar to mine as I was reading the text seemed similar to mine. it’s not exactly the same but the principle of it the idea of the way it works is definitely the same as mine. I couldn’t look at the code because it didn’t seem to be open source software databases. it is not free to download but I didn’t want to buy it. Is there a way of finding out more about its. Function and ti see / compare the code to see if there is infringement or a violation.

I’ve gathered system logs and app-level diagnostics and would really appreciate insight from anyone familiar with daemons, VPN tunnels, or MDM behavior on Apple platforms. Summary of Issues Over Time March 2025: Most apps begin logging out automatically when closed April 2025: Passwords across apps and browsers begin failing May–June 2025: Gmail password reset emails stop arriving (even though other email works) These symptoms suggest something affecting secure sessions, DNS routing, or background data handling. I began running diagnostics and found unexpected system and network behaviors: Examples: com.apple.mobile.lockdown.remote.trusted file_relay.shim.remote pcapd.shim.remote webinspector.shim.remote bluetooth.BTPacketLogger.shim.remote On a normal, non-jailbroken device, I wouldn't expect so many .shim.remote or .diagnostic services to be active. Is this expected on iOS 18.5? The binary /usr/sbin/scutil appears to be missing. This breaks commands like: scutil --dns scutil --proxy scutil --nc list On a standard iOS device, is it even possible for scutil to be removed or disabled? App Behavior and Config Locking (Cloudflare WARP Log) From the logs of the Cloudflare WARP app (not enterprise-managed): The app repeatedly forces VPN tunnels to reconnect or restart by injecting dummy URLs (force OS to restart the network extension process). It tries to load policy configuration from MDM and Teams APIs (even though no MDM appears in Settings). Many config items are marked as: locked: true, visible: true including: DNS logs Fallback DNS Trusted WiFi settings The account is labeled as: WarpAccountRole.child which may explain some restrictions — but I’ve never set this manually. This seems more advanced than what the standard WARP app does. Could a provisioning profile or side-loaded config be applying these? Key Questions for the Community Are ~50 remote diagnostic services (.shim.remote) normal on iOS 18.5 stock devices? Could a VPN app (e.g. WARP) or hidden config enforce flow-switching across interfaces like ipsec, awdl, and pdp_ip, even when not visibly active? Can a provisioning profile or managed config enable services like file_relay, pcapd, or webinspector silently — without any visible MDM profile? Has anyone seen scutil or other network tools missing on a stock iPhone? What could cause this? Does WARP in MASQUE mode normally lock DNS settings and force tunnel restarts — or could this indicate tampering? Hi everyone, I updated my iPhone 16 Pro to iOS 26 beta and my Apple Watch to watchOS 26 beta because I wanted to test out the new features. After a few days of testing, I found the iOS 26 beta too unstable and laggy for daily use, so I downgraded my iPhone back to iOS 18.5 stable. Now my Apple Watch is still running watchOS 26 beta. I tried resetting it to factory settings, hoping that would help, but now I can’t pair it back to my iPhone because it requires iOS 26 again — which I don’t want to reinstall and don't want to use it till it's stable. Is there any way to downgrade my Apple Watch back to a stable version or somehow pair it again with my iPhone running iOS 18.5? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi all, Im trying tu publish an app for iOS and I get it rejected by the lack of this privacy manifest, but unless I understood this wrong, this manifest is needed for external tools used, or maybe Im wrong, Im publishing an app made in Unity, so in this case, one has to include a privacy manifest by default? For a few weeks now, I've been seeing a halo on the top of the left lens. The lens is perfectly clean and unscratched, so I think it's internal condensation. It looks like an oily fingerprint on the internal part of the lens. Two days ago, I made an appointment with an Apple Genius, and I went today. They aren't allowed to perform a physically test on the device; the only thing they could do was run diagnostic software to send it in for service. I'm on the VisionOS 26 dev beta: the diagnostic tool doesn't work with the beta. Furthermore, my ticket was flagged as 'resolved' even though it isn't, so I have no way to receive an additional solution. Result? After an hour, I still haven't solved anything, after spending £3,500 on the device and £500 on Apple Care Plus. What should I do?

Hello all, We are in the process of deploying EAP-TLS Wi-Fi authentication across our corporate environment for both Windows and macOS devices. All endpoints are managed via Workspace ONE. As part of our macOS configuration, we are pushing device certificates to the login keychain of managed MacBooks. For testing purposes, we have explicitly set the Access Control List (ACL) of the associated private key to allow all applications access. This includes: eapolclient, which handles the EAP-TLS handshake for Wi-Fi panGPS, which is responsible for establishing the GlobalProtect VPN connection (we are using certificate-based authentication with pre-logon enabled) Additionally, we have configured and deployed a Wi-Fi profile via Workspace ONE to prevent users from having to manually select their device certificate - basically the identity preference card in Keychain Access. Despite these settings, we are still encountering Keychain Access prompts when eapolclient attempts to access the private key. This happens even though the key is configured to allow all applications access. This behavior is unexpected, and we’re trying to understand why these prompts persist. Has anyone encountered similar behavior on macOS, or is there something we're missing in terms of permissions or keychain configuration that could be causing this? Hello Devs, I wanted to bring this up to display the frustration that I have obtaining the CarPlay entitlements. First and foremost they don't give you a set timeline and there is no contact number to speak to someone about this. When you call developer support they go on and say it is a different department. There is an email but all I have received is an automated response back to me. Has anyone received the navigation entitlements and if so what was the timeline of you receiving it?
