I bought a Mac mini M4 and when I used it to sign up for a developer account, I was always encountered, it needed me to take a photo, but I didn't have a camera, so I used the iriun software to connect my phone to take a photo, it works fine in FaceTime, but when I take a photo in the Apple Developer app, the round photo frame is shown black.
How can I make the camera work and if I buy a third-party camera?

Hi,
I want to write a workflow in XCode cloud which will perform analysis on the PRs. PRs will be dynamic, so my workflow must get the name of branch from the PR and perform sonar analysis on it. It must check the unit tests coverage on new lines. The scope of the workflow will be only inside the PR not on the complete develop branch.
I have been reviewing the documentation on preparing your app to be the default messaging app, and I am wondering about the following:
If I set my app as the default messaging app, will it be able to send and receive legacy SMS messages?
Does iOS provide any SMS-specific framework or APIs to facilitate handling SMS messages directly within my app?
I’d appreciate any clarification on whether iOS supports such functionality and, if so, how to integrate it into my app.
Thank you!

I updated my Apple Watch Series 6 before Apple withdrew beta 11.4 as an option. I see on forums that I am not alone with this issue. Many series 6 watches are now stuck in a boot loop. I hope Apple can resolve the issue for those of us that pushed the update to our watches before the issue was identified. Support were unable to assist.

I just got a new 2024 Macbook Pro today. I finished setting it up, and I'm trying to reinstall a few apps. It told me that since I haven't used my Apple ID yet, I need to complete my Apple account. I've entered all my address information, but every time I hit continue, the boxes turn red, telling me I need to enter my information as if I never entered it in the first place. How can I fix this? I need to set this computer up before classes tomorrow.
Can anyone tell me why "Classroom (System Settings)" is running on my Mac?
I found this post, but the author never fully explained what was going on: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/734270
Clicking on "inspect" tells me it was launched by launchd.
Experiencing frequent automatic restarts on my late 2013 iMac running OS Catalina 10.15.7. Fairly certain that the issue doesn't have to do with my peripherals (external hard drive, flash drives, CD burner) and thinking it's a software issue. Below are the 4 different crash reports I’ve received for OneDriveStandaloneUpdater, Adobe Desktop Service, mds_stores, and mds.
Wondering if anyone has any insights on how to remedy these out of the blue shutdowns based on the crash report info? Thanks in advance...

Connection is getting broken while moving from background to foreground in latest iOS 18.3.is there any change regarding background activity?
The issue occurred on a macOS device where nsurlsessiond consumed excessive data (75GB+) while Microsoft Office was installed. No active usage was involved. The issue stopped after uninstalling Office. To reproduce: Install Office, monitor nsurlsessiond via Activity Monitor for high data usage.

Hi! I am a 3rd year accounting student trying to install an SAP gui onto my brand new Macbook Air. Every time I download the app, it refuses to open and pops up with this error.
"CODESIGNING 1 Taskgated Invalid Signature"
I have Java installed for it and have followed my professor's directions, so it should be working. Can someone help me?

I am trying to create a phone app that can receive incoming call notifications using CallKit, as described in Apple's CallKit documentation.
Added the com.apple.developer.calling-app entitlement in my .entitlements file. Implemented CXProvider and set up the delegate methods (provider:perform: and providerDidReset). Added UIBackgroundModes with voip in Info.plist. Configured CXProviderConfiguration to support phone numbers.
I expected to receive incoming call notifications when my app was set as the default calling app. However, I am not receiving any notifications when an incoming call arrives.
How can I properly detect and handle incoming calls in my default calling app? Is there any additional configuration required for iOS 18.2+?
I'm developing a workout app with a mirrored workout session. I'm having problems with sessions being out of sync. For example, when the workout is ended, it takes somewhere around a minute or two for it to actually fully end, so if during this time I start a new workout, then the sessions will be out of sync.
I am using healthStore.recoverActiveWorkoutSession() to recover the workout session but it doesn't always work very well and in particular in the case when a workout has been manually ended (but ending hasn't completed) it enters an out of sync mode.
The reason why this case is happening is because I have an third party sensor connected to this mirrored workout session and if the sensor is out of range or turned off, I end the workout. However, if the person had accidentally gone out of range, they would reconnect to the app and restart the workout as soon as they realize and in that case, when the workout hasn't fully ended, it doesn't recover appropriately.
I have spent weeks trying to debug this with no luck so any advice will be appreciated.
Hello,
I am currently working on integrating Meta Audience Network (Meta) with Google AdMob using bidding mediation for an iOS app. The goal is to show ads through meta , with AdMob acting as the mediation layer.
I have successfully set up both the Meta SDK and Google AdMob SDK, as well as the GoogleMobileAdsMediationFacebook adapter. My AdMob and Meta accounts are both linked for mediation, and I have configured the correct placement IDs for Meta within AdMob.
Currently i am creating a demo project with demo accounts i haven't added app live link as my app isn't on AppStore and haven't added any payment method.
However, I am encountering a couple of issues and need some guidance:
1. Test Ads Work, but Real Ad Unit Fails:
• When using test AdMob ad unit IDs, everything works fine, and ads are shown as expected.
• But when I use my original AdMob ad unit ID, I get the error: “Publisher data not found.”
• Does this mean my app is not fully set up or is there something else I might be missing in my configuration?
• Is it necessary to go live on the App Store to get ads from the real ad unit, even for testing purposes?
2. Meta Ads via Bidding Mediation:
• I have integrated Meta through AdMob’s bidding mediation system.
But i am showing ads using GADBannerView is it right way to show meta ads that are mediated with google admob. If i have to show ads with FBAdView from where to get withBidPayload value for this function
adView.loadAd(withBidPayload: "what_here")
3. Payment Method Requirements:
• My app is still in the demo/testing phase and is not live on the App Store. I have not added any payment methods in either AdMob or Meta.
• Is it necessary to add a payment method for testing purposes, or is this only required when I start monetizing and going live?
I would appreciate any advice or pointers to ensure the setup is correct and to understand why the original ad unit ID isn’t working during testing.
Thank you for your time and assistance!
Hi everyone,
I'm working on my submission for the Swift Student Challenge and wanted to clarify something—does the application need to be fully functional in every aspect to be eligible for submission? Or is it acceptable if some features aren't fully implemented, as long as the overall experience showcases my coding skills and creativity?
Would appreciate any insights from past participants or anyone familiar with the guidelines!
Thanks!

I have encountered a problem that the Apple Watch cannot automatically continue playing the music in my playlist even if I have press the cycle button. It stops every song. And I used Apple Music. All these are performed without iPhone. But after restarted the watch, it works fine. I use S10 GPS watch with watch os 11.3.1. I never restarted the watch after I renewed the system. And i believe the problem have existed for more than one year as i saw a post describe the same problem on social media.

We are experiencing an issue where a user is unable to open our app on their iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 18.3. When the user selects the app, it begins to scale to screen size but then fades away without fully opening. It is unclear whether this is a crash or another issue.
To troubleshoot, we created a simplified version of the app containing only a single screen displaying "Hello, World." The user experiences the same issue with this version, leading us to believe there may be a device-specific setting or compatibility issue at play.
Steps the User Has Tried:
Checked device storage – over 200GB available
Offloaded and reinstalled the app
Deleted and reinstalled the app
Updated to iOS 18.3
Forced restart of the device
Reset network settings
Turned off VPN
Despite these steps, the issue persists. We would appreciate any guidance on potential causes or troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.
