When using WebAuthn with WKWebView
WebAuthn can be used in Safari, but when using it with WKWebView, you need to set the default browser definition (com.apple.developer.web-browser). Is this correct? Also, is it possible that the terms of use will change or that it will no longer be available in WKWebView in the future?

MediaRecorder as PWA on iOS
Hey, very strange problem I have on iOS when shared web as an app (pwa) to home screen. Whenever I use it via safari browser on iPhone, it works 100% fine every time. However, when I put it as an app on home screen, first time I open it it works fine, when i close it and reopen again, it just doesnt start recording. I have to restart my phone for it to work. So it works one time, I guess somehow it doesnt end stream or something, but in code I've tried all the possible ways to close and clean the track. tried GPT, Claude, Gemini solutions. nothing worked, it just works 1 time as PWA. my last hope is someone else encountered this issue and may try to help me ? https://pastebin.com/85i2L2vH

The tag displayed in native webview does not work in iPadOS 26 Beta

"CALayer position contains NaN" Crash in WKWebView on iOS 26 Beta
I’m experiencing a crash in WKWebView on iOS 26 Developer Beta 5 and Beta 6 with the following exception: CALayer position contains NaN: [nan 65] The crash occurs when the following CSS properties are applied to content displayed in WKWebView: -webkit-user-select: none; -webkit-touch-callout: none; This issue happens consistently whenever these styles are set, leading to the crash inside WKWebView. Is this a known bug in the current iOS 26 betas, or is there a recommended workaround?

iOS share extension cannot open app from Chrome
Our UI-less share extension (com.apple.services) appears in Safari and Chrome. We raise a popup "Open in (app)..." via the Action.js script document.location.href = urlScheme://... in Safari. However, in Chrome, while our extension executes, parses the URL item attachment from Chrome, it never triggers that popup or opens our app. How can a UI-less share extension open our app from Chrome? Is the accepted practice, despite guidelines, turning the com.apple.ui-services view controller invisible and auto-openURLing? I have a Net8 Maui WebView app and whenever I use magnifier, it crashes. Issue with opening browser on Apple Watch SE 2 – black screen
Hello, I am experiencing an issue when trying to open the browser on my Apple Watch SE 2 running the latest version, watchOS 11.6. When I attempt to visit any website, the browser opens and displays the URL at the top as if it is loading, but the screen remains black and no content is displayed. The internet connection is available, and all other apps on the watch work normally. This issue occurs only with the browser. I would appreciate any guidance or solution to resolve this problem. WKWebView crash on iOS 26 Beta with -webkit-user-select: none
On iOS 26 Beta, WKWebView consistently crashes when interacting with pages that use -webkit-user-select: none. This issue does not reproduce in Safari, but only when the same content is loaded inside a WKWebView. Steps to Reproduce: Install iOS 26 Beta. 新しいWebViewにおいてが動作しない

Is my POST method correct

Tab title and URL properties are empty when accessed via WebExtensions API after Safari restart
Hello - we have a Mac application that uses a browser extension and the web extension JS APIs to communicate with Safari. During user testing we found that the tab title and tab URL properties are empty when obtaining the set of open windows via windows.get() after a Safari restart. We are testing with Safari 18.4 (20621.1.15.11.10). We have made a TestFlight version of our app and extension available to help with testing: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Va8Zdv9d. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Install Tabby via the TestFlight link Enable the Tabby for Safari extension in the Safari extensions dialog Grant permissions for Tabby for Safari to all windows all the time Within Safari, open two windows each with at least two tabs Within the Tabby app, ensure you see the windows and tabs listed correctly (tab title displayed for each) Quit and restart Safari Expected behavior Safari re-opens existing windows and Tabby displays title for each tab Observed Safari re-opens existing windows but within Tabby all tabs except the current tab are displayed with a title of “Start Page”. Under the hood the tab title and tab URL properties are empty when returned via a windows.get() call after Safari restarts.
