That makes a lot of sense, thanks. So i purchased edid emulators that broadcast a lower available bandwidth, but when in use, the display being emulated glitches and then crashes out after just a few minutes. switching the refresh rate to something other than what it currently is at then switching it back seems to fix it temporarily. Perhaps this is because I am running the emulator behind my docking station?
