Hi! I have the exact same issue as bryn-apple and have implemented your suggestion but it's still not working. I am creating a GMSMapView as a subview of interfaceController.rootViewController.view. I've tried carPlayScreen.displayLinkWithTarget as well as mapView.window.screen.displayLinkWithTarget, but neither work. The camera/location updates fire, but it appears that the mapView is not rendering the change. GMSMapView.startRendering is deprecated. Any help appreciated!
