The iphone app was created using React Native, the companion watch app was created directly through xcode. In the past I have also created companion watch apps for React native apps and I have never faced this issue. Could this be originated from the lower OS version I'm using on my testing watch device ?

The Iphone app was created with React Native, the companion watch app was created directly on xcode. I have created companion watch app on several React native apps before and have never faced this issue. Could this issue be related to the watch OS version being old ?
