iOS bug since 18.0-18.2.1, persists in 18.5, affects Face ID haptic feedback. Small prompts (WhatsApp, Notes) lack haptics; AssistiveTouch or Eye Tracking restores them. Large prompts (Apple Pay, App Store) give one haptic, not three. Software issue, not hardware, as accessibility fixes it. Reported to Apple; no fix yet. Reproduce: open Face ID app, no haptics; enable AssistiveTouch, haptics return. For large prompts, only final haptic triggers. Hope Apple fixes in iOS 19 for better UX.
