This is an older post, but I’ll leave a comment here anyway. I would leave the show password button visible, but add a disclaimer for VoiceOver to read for three reasons. Hiding the button will also hide it from users who are using Braille displays. and people using voice control. While password managers have automated away a lot of password memory, when entering new passwords or there is a problem with the passwords API, website passwords are typically a lot more complicated than computer login passwords Siri, this could make password entry frustrating for visually impaired and other disabled users. Users who have limited sight but still use screenreaders will become confused if the button is visible, but they cannot use it. there are definitely privacy concerns, but having it available, but giving users a warning is a much better option than trying to hide it
