You’re not alone. I have the same problem on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, with System data going up from 40GB to 77GB! The worst part is that Apple is not doing anything about it! I myself have submitted feedback about this problem when I was on iOS 18, yet they seem to have ignored me completely. 🤡
