Hello! From what I can tell, the content should not be clipped under the vertical bars, as the only time that is not visible is when Reduce Transparency is enabled in Settings. Otherwise, it has two behaviors: No background when there is no horizontal scroll area A partially translucent background when there are horizontal scroll areas, so clipping content would be noticeable Refer to the Tech Talk "Raise the bar with iPhone Duo" timestamp 10:52. Unfortunately, after trying several methods, I don't think that the behavior is supported. That would be nice though, but at the moment I don't think it's possible. The only workaround I see is by wrapping each of your Tab's content in a ZStack that ignores safe areas and then putting a colored circle behind the tab like so: First, create a TabTint view: struct TabTint: View { var body: some View { VStack { Spacer() HStack { Spacer() Circle() .frame(width: 60) .aspectRatio(CGSize(width: 1, height: 1), contentMode: .fill) .foregroundStyle(.blue) } } .padding(.bottom, -60) .padding(.trailing, 22) } } Then, in each of your tabs: Tab("Tab", systemImage: "symbol") { ZStack { TabContent() // Or whatever function you use for the tab TabTint() } } One important thing, though: the padding and size of the TabTint will need to be different on iPhone Duo. This might look somewhat odd, but right now it seems to be the only option. I suggest you use either the Apple Feedback website or app to submit a this as a feature request. As a fellow developer, I can understand the stress that this change may cause, but to be honest I'm sure it will in the end help us achieve a better result as the OS continues to evolve to help our apps better evolve with it. Addressing the question of having the action button in the middle, consider in your TabView using the following: Tab("Name", systemImage: "symbol", role: .prominent) { // Content } Or, if you use a custom label: Tab("Name", image: "image", role: .prominent) { // Content } The result will look something like this: The button on the right instead of the center may be a little change for your users to get used to, but I would say it is the best option. Hello, @alexantonov! As you can see at timestamp 3:50 in the Tech Talk "Design for iPhone Duo", landscape orientation is available on the outer display as per the graphic on the bottom left. However, (correct me if I'm wrong) this functionality might only be accessible by positioning the phone in "tent" mode and exiting StandBy. Again, I am not sure about this, so you may need to look further into it.

Hello, @b.n.ch. I had the same issue, but realized what was happening: all the simulators that I tried to create in Device Hub were being run in the old Simulator app. I solved this very quickly by simply rebooting my Mac. Then, all the simulators I created appeared in the Device Hub.

Write With Siri automatically proofreads your text as you write it, so that would replace the "Proofread" tool. Everything else would be replaced by Siri AI. With on-screen awareness, Siri can now (in theory) be used to change whatever you're writing. If I am correct, you should now be able to say, "Hey Siri, make this sound more friendly" or "Make this more concise," thus rendering Writing Tools unnecessary and allowing Apple to remove them. Although (as to the extent of my knowledge) Apple did not explicitly state that Writing Tools will be integrated with Siri AI, not only would it be a huge oversight to have them be completely missing in iOS 27's beta, but also they did not even appear in the WWDC26 Keynote and appeared to be replaced with Siri AI in Apple's demos. Thank you, @reed.1325 and @l00! I rebooted my device, and Device Hub is now working. I realized, by the way, that the simulators I created in Device Hub were being created in the Simulator app. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next beta
