Paid twice, still Pending after a week, and no response from Apple Developer Support
Hello, I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with my Apple Developer Program enrollment experience, and I haven’t even been able to get started yet. I started the process on October 10 and made the payment. Despite that, my account continued to display “Purchase your membership.” Because the page still appeared to require payment, I mistakenly paid a second time. The second payment was accidental. Today is October 17. The same message is still there, my account still shows “Pending,” and my membership is still not active. The page says processing may take up to 48 hours, yet an entire week has passed without a clear explanation. I have contacted Apple Developer Support and received no response. Being left with an unclear account status after two payment attempts, with no explanation and no reply to my messages, is deeply disappointing. I expected much better communication from Apple. I am trying to develop an app. Instead, I’m spending my time chasing an enrollment issue without even knowing what is wrong or what I’m supposed to do next. I need clear answers: Were my payments received, and was I charged twice? Why does my account still ask me to purchase a membership and show “Pending”? Is anything missing from my enrollment or verification? When will this be resolved and my membership activated? If both payments were charged, how will the accidental duplicate payment be refunded? Most importantly, why has the support experience been so poor? Why have my emails gone unanswered? Is this the level of support I should expect as a paying developer? Please do not simply redirect me to the same support channel without addressing the fact that my messages there have gone unanswered. I need someone to investigate this and provide a concrete next step and a realistic timeline. I can provide enrollment, payment, and support case details privately through an official Apple support channel. I will not post those details publicly. I would appreciate a response from an Apple staff member who can help move this forward.
