Comment on Inexplicable Metal crash ever since iOS 26.5 beta 4
Thanks for the prompt reply! Regarding the info you want, all the Metal 4-based visualizers crash now. I will work on a reproducible example later and submit that for feedback. Surprisingly, having Metal API validation and ASan on doesn't really show anything in the console, just that the connection was interrupted (due to the phone restart, of course.) The feedback number is FB22687329, and I've attached multiple sysdiagnoses to the feedback thread.

Hi, thanks for the reply! I did step through the code, and it seems like the call of loadPersistentStores does generate an error, it's just telling me Core Data is failing to load. I don't have a CloudKit container called "TaskDataModel", but all the tutorials I found just changed NSPersistentContainer to NSPersistentCloudKitContainer with no issues, so I'm not exactly sure what is going on. Thanks for the help!
